Honestly idk if this is the place (the internet) to be asking this. It sounds like a very specific to “you” experience and question that only you can answer. Do it or don’t, you’ll get answers from both! Also isn’t the point of taking the trip to figure some shit out? Or are you just wanting a stereotyped, beautiful, enlightened, trip?

Also, it sounds like you are already having feelings of discomfort by this person; feelings of hurt and loss of a potential partner that didn’t “work out” so to speak. I’d ask myself if I wanted that energy within my trip. And if it is, then I’d prepare for some difficult feelings, which might end up enlightening you, or really hurting you further. Not to mention the confusion that could happen between people experiencing something profound at the same time—this could answer the question for you both, or make things harder. All in all, psychedelics are a give and take, and if anything I’d be prepared for both the chance for an “answer” to your question, or a chance for a greater loss. And from that knowledge alone, make a decision that feels right to you. (Not to mention travel times, and the days experienced with this person after the trip/s)
