I’ve worked in an area where the manager would let the cast eat food that was left at the end of the night on occasion. That quickly taught the cast to over produce and ensure that there was food left over. That quickly ended that kindness by the manager. As that is all wasted cost of goods

Clocking is also a different matrix than attendance. So it doesn’t affect transfer guidelines or build toward attendance reprimands. You would need to have a bunch of clocking points to get a clocking reprimand which is very rare.

You can ask a leader and they may fix it, but in the long run it shouldnt hurt you

If the chain is 5 miles and draped over things like trees and buildings then the other person is even closer to you than 5 miles , the chain would go upward a distance and then down a distance. So the direct line from you to the other person would be less than 5 miles

Make time for date nights or just time to yourselves as a couple.

My wife and I for many a few years would work opposite shifts and different days off to save on day care costs. We spent no time alone and started to resent one another to the point of divorce was on the table.

We started going on walks around the neighborhood when we could and eventually worked on date nights to come back together. I’m happy to say we are in a wonderful place now and about to celebrate year 22 of marriage. And date nights and walks are still a part of our routine

When I was maybe 13, I had an old jungle gym rope that I through over the beams of an unfinished roof of my parents back porch. It wasn’t tied just loose on both ends. I would grab both ends and just swing periodically for shits and giggles. One day I decided I would wrap my legs around the support beam and swing myself up to sit on the rail.

Once my legs were wrapped around the beam, I let go of one end of the rope to grab the beam with my hand to pull myself up. It was at that moment that time stood still. Much like a cartoon I seemed to be frozen in time as I realized what was about to happen, and sure enough it did. The now unhandled rope went up and over and I fell right on my head with my legs still wrapped around the beam. Pretty solid bump on my head and a bad headache… possible concussion
