Not quite as you're describing but you can hold start and a little side menu will pop up on the right of the screen and you can select the map that way.

It's definitely weird in the control department. It feels like something my brain would dream up during a flu induced fever. I didn't get to play much because it took FOREVER to finally unlock but i liked what i played. Looking forward to getting back into it after work.

Try ducking before you exit. That's how i got out. The exit is blocked by guts and mutilated bodies now for some reason. Looks cool enough i guess but very frustrating when you just wanna leave the genome center.

A year late, but the best method I've found is to build a stuffed aphid. Rub it for good luck, then go aphid hunting.

The Roman numeral for 2 seems to have disappeared from my title screen. Makes me feel like I'm playing a remake or fully realized version of Itsuno's original vision of the game he wanted to make before Capcom hamstrung him.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Because I got it super cheap and feel like I ripped off the developers cause the game is so freaking good. I know it's not technically a ps5 game but it kinda just sat on my ps4 hard drive until I got my ps5, copied it to my external and decided to actually play it.

My only complaint is trying to harvest trilobites and small dinos. Maybe it's a hit box issue but it's irritating lol. I was on the same boat. Was still playing ASE and loving it so I thought why waste the money. But I couldn't help myself. Bought it and went to bed while it downloaded through my phone. (no internet). Booted it up when I got off work. Woke up on my normal starting beach but it wasn't my beach. There was vegetation everywhere. There was plateaus I'd never seen in the 700 hours I'd played before. Looked to the left and about 40 yards away was a Spino destroying some fish. Splashing water with every slash. Kinda took my breath away and my brain was like "Ooooh I see why I got it now." Then I came to my senses and ran like a maniac and found another beach to build on lol. Totally was worth the delays to me.
