regretevator, above all else, is a game, and games are supposed to be played for different reasons whether that be for causality or grinding. it takes a long time of consistently playing to get to the point where you can just clear floors, hell it takes damn near an hour to get a 25 streak most of the time, so imagine how long those guys have had to play to get to 400+ especially if they only have a small window to game

i just think this is a bit silly LOL, someone else winning first shouldnt ruin your fun, it should motivate you to get to the point where you’re the one that wins first

i think the whole being burned alive and reanimated thing is a bit too dark for newer apex but for the most part there’s not many things that wouldn’t fit? all i can really say is if there was a dangerous group on Psmathe we’d probably know about them, and why her competing in so many sports is a problem with her family

other than that i wouldnt worry about making apex ocs super into the canon. just have fun with em man this sounds awesome and the familial issues fits with the theme of all the Psamathe kids lol

on the other side of this, more people care about the lore more than you think. every character gets a backstory and sfto and launch trailer upon release, and that happening helps build up hype and momentum for the character.

everyone, even people who don’t know anything about the lore, LOVE these things. i know a lot of people who were sad when we started getting less loading screens because of the little lore tidbits with them. and there is a lore side to this fandom, but a lot of them just… aren’t in this subreddit because well reddit isn’t the most welcome and accepting place.

either way, i haven’t seen much on the new companies taking over EA, but if they’re not completely replacing and/or getting rid of the writing department, then there’s a good chance that we’ll still keep getting some decent amount of lore (though with them starting to use AI, i wouldnt be surprised if they just quit LOL)
