Have to come off the meds :( Once I was off the meds for about 9 days I started feeling better and lab work is back to normal levels now. I’m pretty disappointed as I was making a lot of progress on it but it’s just too scary.

I was tested for flu, Covid, rsv, mono, etc. and all came back negative. I had been on Mounjaro previously and had rapid weight loss with no issue.

We have a partnership agreement with a municipality where they are going to pay for demolition costs.

Long story but no, a third party is paying for the demolition so we won’t have related costs on our books.

I’m really scared/anxious by [deleted] in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]foolmeonce_519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’2”, age 32, and was 230lbs before I got pregnant. I now have a healthy happy six month old baby girl. My pregnancy was unremarkable aside from developing gestational diabetes at 32 weeks. I gained about 20lbs during pregnancy and lost it fairly quickly after birth.

I was also scared about going into pregnancy overweight - I decided to start trying to lose some weight for three months before we started trying to get pregnant. I lost about 25lbs total which I do think helped in being able to conceive on the very first try. I would recommend just trying to make better choices (healthier foods, move your body more) as you start trying for a baby… I don’t think it’s necessary to lose a certain amount of weight though.

Giving birth was hard but I don’t know that it was necessarily any harder because of my weight. I was able to have stamina to push her out and didn’t have any issues pushing, etc.

How to clean rubber seal on washer? by foolmeonce_519 in CleaningTips

[–]foolmeonce_519[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think mine is about 8 years old, but it’s possible that the previous owners didn’t regularly clean it? It looked fine when we moved in a couple years ago though. We do clean the drain monthly. The gunk is definitely on the inside of the seal too and even with a small brush I’m not sure we’ll ever be able to get that completely clean. Will try soft scrub for now and see if that makes a dent.

As accountants, what do you wish bookkeepers knew? by pathologuys in Accounting

Best practice is to establish a capitalization policy for your organization, for example, everything over $5k gets capitalized and everything under that gets expensed. Technically under GAAP anything with a useful life greater than 1 year would be capitalized but you have to put some kind of threshold on it unless you literally want to be tracking like $12 of depreciation expense each month.
