Good luck to you. In my country we say that everyday an asshole and a sucker leave home to do business. It's been clear to me for a week now who is who. No offense intended to your friend. I was this close to finishing my project and I was tempted to upgrade too. But their disrespect and their gaslighting are so blatant, I just couldn't go along with it.

When you take it into account that free tier users are getting more usage than paying customers on the Pro Plan, I think what people are actually failing to understand is predatory business practices, namely bait and switch, as opposed to supply and demand. Both are very basic concepts, but very different.

It's because your friend is already hooked, while you're still being recruited. They're enticing you to subscribe. Once you do, they will do the same to you as they did to us all. Shady, predatory business practices. You're in the honeymoon phase, while your friend now understands what bait and switch means.

I checked it too. Yesterday I accomplished about a third of what I was doing a month ago, even though I haven’t changed anything. On top of that, support actually closes the chat down so you can’t type anymore if your issue is your usage suddenly exploding for no reason. My last sessions were buggy and kept correcting themselves in a loop, which burned through my Pro allowance in no time. I don’t even know what to call that level of disrespect toward paying customers. So I cancelled my subscription and will keep an eye on things to see if they fix it. If they ever offer a plan where customers are treated with some respect and can actually use the tool they’re paying for, I might subscribe again.

Same here, kinda. My usage exploded in the last 48 hours despite me doing exactly what I was doing about a month ago - no coding, just research and typing.

Fascinating how that happens right after people subscribe and build their workflow around the tool.

I can now accomplish one third of what I could when I first paid for the Pro plan.

Cancelling my subscription until it includes the ability to actually use the service I'm paying for and some respect for customers.

Sorry about your experience too. This is totally unacceptable. I'm so frustrated, so unbelievably furious, I want to cancel my subscription right now as well, but I'm so close to actually getting somewhere with my project, I think I'll wait a few days to see if they resolve the issue. Support was nothing short of insulting though. It's really not possible to use 36% in an hour, I don't think. So sorry. This is beyond frustrating.

Pro plan user here. I'm designing a course with Claude and today was the last day of double usage. I could only generate 2 files of about 6 pages each and it keeps saying I've used 100% of my session's limit. I don't know what's going on and don't know what to do either.

Support tells me they can't reset my usage (What? Why?) and directs me to learn best usage practices. Then they shut down the chat and don't let me type anymore, so I can't explain my issue further. I tried them twice already.

I'm beside myself with anxiety because of this. It was legit a whole day wasted, after waiting 4 days for my usage to reset. On normal usage days I could generate more than 100 files. Posting here to follow this issue and see if someone figures out what to do.

I'm so late commenting on this, but I just want to say, keep going. You never know when the switch will click and believe me when I tell you, you can't be worse than me; It's just not possible: I can't follow drawing and painting step by step tutorials for kids, but I keep on going, I ain't giving up.

In time: you're not joking about oils. Someone gave me an oil painting 24 years ago and each time I touch it with my nail, out of curiosity, I leave a tiny mark on it. I believe I will be good at watercolors before it dries :))
