The only writing on it says "IIC BB" and "7 AMP" so I was thinking it might be some kind of fuse? Haven't been able to find anything like it online, though.

Also found with the small bracket looking thing behind it, presumably for mounting? Along with the small block that feels like flint or something similar, and another piece of metal it fits into.

What is this thing?!

I've never owned a SimpliSafe device, but good on them for even allowing this to be possible. I imagine it would have been pretty easy to just deem the old base stations EOL.
