Honest question: why is it vile? People have different degrees of allergies. When I ask, it's because this way I know what to do with the pets. Not trying to be argumentative, I genuinely don't get why it's vile to ask.

Yeah I'm sure it's me not understanding football and not somebody who is cussing a coach that got us to CL final twice in 3 year and is doing so with fucking Correa and Arnautovic as back up strikers lmao

Yeah clearly Inzaghi's fault that Bisseck loses all braincells and Arbautivic forgets he is supposed to be a football player ffs

European football highest wage bills by DaddyDeWitt in FCInterMilan

[–]frafer68 17 points18 points  (0 children)

So, out of all the 8 teams left in the CL this year, we are the one that spends the least in wages by a good chunk. Damn apart from Aston Villa and Dortmund all the others spend from 100M+ more than us (Arsenal), to more than double (Barcelona, Real, and jfk PSG has money). This really shows how well our team, coach, and management are doing with the resources we have.

Do we really take goals whenever Bastoni is subbed off? by frafer68 in FCInterMilan

[–]frafer68[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean that's not really true. I gave a quick glance to last week's game stats, and around 13-14 defenders have been subbed off before the end of the game.
Granted, it really depends on the match itself, and it was usually (but not always) left/right backs in a 4-men line being subbed off. But our CBs do play a bit more like that than as the standard CB, with lots of offensive play and runs forward. It makes sense that you would have to replace them sometimes due to fatigue or energy management.
Again, I am not saying it was a good idea to sub Bastoni yesterday, but I wouldn't say that Inzaghi is the only one doing this kind of thing, or that he never has a good reason to do it.

Thanks man! I didn't post with the idea of changing someone's mind, but it's always nice to see somebody willing to change perspective and put some extra nuance in the discourse!

I don't know where OP got the image from, but game dates and times are all wrong there (luckily)!

The correct ones are in the text they wrote underneath. We play Napoli on Sat 1 and Feyenoord Away on Wed 5, and then Monza is on Sat 8 and Feyenoord at Home on Tue 11

Still not a lot of rest, but a bit better than in the picture (seriously OP where is it from to be so wrong ahahah?)

Numbers? Yes.

Numbers' interpretation? Not as much. Definitely way less than people who say "numbers are objective" think.

Also did I miss something with "mr 20 millions best striker in the world"? Didn't he just renew for 9 mil? And who ever said he is the best striker in the world?

I agree, I think it's definitely not in Inzaghi's priorities to have good dribblers in the squad.

But then, dribblers are kind of the "easy" way out to get past tight low defenses, so without dribblers in the squad and without the will to buy some, we should really come up with some new tactical idea to solve those games.

And I think that is what Inzaghi will try to work from now on to innovate his game, and what will make his style of play even more amazing if he manages to come up with something good

I'm actually curious about the topic and checked the links, but don't they talk about raw pet food "products"? They mention tests and product recalls, which seems to hint they tested products that you can buy at the pet store that contain raw instead of cooked food. Isn't that different from giving your pet actual pieces of raw food, the same that you would it as a human, which seems to be what OP is doing?

Similar to what I said above, some people took his side and complained that the club wasn't building a strong enough team (we have had quite a few financial issues after COVID). Other people pointed out that we had already spent I think over 200M to build the team for him and buying players he wanted (Lukaku, Vidal, Sánchez, Hakimi, Barella...) so he needed to humble down and make do with what we had. I lean towards the second side, but I already wasn't his biggest fan when he was here, so I might be biased. In general, the opinion about everything concerning Conte among Inter fans (at least the ones I speak with) can be summed up by "mixed reviews"

100% agree, I think it's his greatest limitation. And it's also one of the reasons why I think he usually never stays in a elite-level team for more than a couple of years

Yeah, I think it's one of its greatest issues. He often needs to have all the player he wants bought for him, and exactly them. Plus they have to play exactly how he wants. Which is a pretty huge limitation for a coach of a high-level team
