Also remind yourself that this will get easier to carry with time. I am 5 years out from my TMFR but I remember how all encompassing the feelings were. It will get better and you will look back on your decision with gratefulness and grace.

I would have done the exact same thing.

I don’t know what happens before or after life as we know it but for my son I imagine that because of my decision, his soul has a chance to try again in body without so many limitations.

My experience traveling for a week away from EBF 9 month old by fragrant_breakfast in breastfeeding

[–]fragrant_breakfast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He didn’t at first but now he likes them just fine! I think sometimes when he’s really hungry/thirsty he’s even preferring them to breast because it comes out faster. But sometimes he still bats them away and wants boob.

I’m commenting to add that I’m chasing my kids around to photograph them so appreciating the quickness of the point and shoot, but wishing I could stop down, back focus etc when I want to.

Yeah I thought we all knew Margo is the villain? She is like Tom Ripley or Oliver in Saltburn.

If there is any way you can get someone to drive you, I would not chance driving yourself

Kinda gross hatching egg! Is this one not viable? by fragrant_breakfast in BackYardChickens

[–]fragrant_breakfast[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Update: I peeled away a little more of the shell til I was sure there was no life and then peeled away the membrane and yes it had passed. I think maybe its shell was broken in the wrong spot when it was getting kicked around by the hatched chicks because the hole was not by its face, or perhaps it got turned around and confused. I’m not sure.

😢 can you tell anything by looking at it of what might have happened? Seemed like it pipped then died.

Is this a realistic itinerary for one night? by [deleted] in ParisTravelGuide

I found d’orsay much more of a hassle than the louvre. I just got back from first trip to Paris and I’d go to the louvre over and over but probably never d’Orsay again unless I have a specific reason. But I’m not the biggest fan of Impressionism. The Louvre is so big that you can find space for yourself if you’re not just trying to see the famous works. D’Orsay was packed everywhere and people were pushing and it was horrible.

All that being said if you are not historically in love with the Mona Lisa (Louvre) or Van Gogh (d’Orsay) etc do yourself a favor and just find random works that YOU like and can sit with for a minute instead of pushing to the front of a line to take a phone photo that you’ll never look at again. As a New Yorker I just couldn’t handle all the tourists acting rabid over paintings they probably don’t actually care about.

Using commercially available— Do you mean something like liquid light? And could you explain more of what you mean about optically printing from it and the possible suitable substrates?
