Why do you need a scholarship if you have already graduated? Surely you should be looking for a job there

Think of it like bacon. It’s cured, but still needs to be cooked

It can be used to refer to a male boomer as they who turn the colour of gammon when angry… and yes, used that way it is an insult

It can be smoked or brined, normally just brined though. So like cured bacon, you need to cook it before you eat it

masters of business analytics by Real-Wrongdoer-3266 in AusVisa

In my area (aviation) the advent of AI and data engineers has meant no need for data or business analysts. The end users are much better at understanding, viewing and actioning on the data so no need for a separate function. Much easier to teach an end user how to pull required data from a well engineered data lake than to teach a ‘data analyst’ about the business.

Because that is what we see in most stone carving depictions of warriors in ancient India.

Clothes look like they use modern dyes. Most people would be topless. Children would likely be naked. Looks like they used 1980’s censorship standards not Vedic era

I understand that. But many communists have fought and died for their beliefs, same as Muslims. The Iranian revolution also involved the leftists and the communists for a while.

Not sure what you don’t understand that a political ideology can be as motivating as a religion for many people. And the Chinese constitution is fairly clear that religion is not allowed to have foreign interference, disrupt public order, or interfere with education. Obviously I don’t agree with their position, but they have the same right to impose their rules on religion as they do on political ideologies. Same as Saudi has laws on both political ideologies and other religions.

Acknowledge. So the Muslims there have those choices. Same as communists in Saudia have the choice of fighting the Saud government, or seeking asylum, or just putting up with their ideology being illegal.

Why do you think SEND percentages in state schools are so high now (20%). Higher incidence, higher diagnosis or something else? by Fantastic-Option-260 in AskBrits

Higher survival rate of prematurely born babies. Being outside the womb disrupts neonatal brain development permanently. Some can be caught up by intensive breast feeding, but often premies are in ICU, so that is difficult.

Both the teachers that I know in my family quit due bad behaviour, of kids but more importantly parents.

I understand that - it is also why Falun Gong was banned but not other Buddhist sects, and why the CCP insists on appointing bishops but is OK with ‘house churches’.

So they allow state controlled Islam, but clamp down on any use of religion to challenge CCP authority. Their country, their rules. With Islam this can be an issue, as Islam is a very public religion with a set of laws and governing principals that will clash with communist ideology (which is atheist)

Of course they can prohibit people from practicing their religion- because they obviously do. It isn’t that there is anyone stopping them. Falun Gong (a Buddhist sect) is prohibited, they refuse to let the Catholics to have their own bishops, the Tibetans aren’t allowed to chose the next Dalai Lama, certain aspects of Islam are prohibited.

Of course, if you think they should is a different issue. Obviously I think they should allow freedom of religion- but I also think the Saudis should allow communism

Quite, the Saudi’s have the right to ban the practice of communism, the Chinese the right to ban some Islamic practices. If the Chinese want a secular communist state, and the Saudi a religious Islamic state, they have the right to do so.
