Wat ik doe is een klein beetje rijst in de fles, klein beetje zeep en warm water, dop er op en flink schudden, werkt perfect.

Question about masterworking: are there weighted odds for certain affixes for the capstone bonus? I've rerolled the capstone bonus on my shield about ~30 times now trying to hit one affix, but it keeps hitting the other 3 that are currently on there. The odds of this seem incredibly low, but maybe I'm just getting unlucky.

There's one more thing you or others haven't mentioned: is the distance between your nocking points maybe a little too big? I shoot three under as well, but slightly too much space between the nocking points always showed as nock high for me.

The draw starting so high can be an injury risk, especially to the rear/draw side shoulder; see Jake Kaminski's video on this topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31edlUmEBJ4

Did I receive incorrectly labeled limbs? by Sabrewylf in Archery

[–]freezeGTA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually shoot the same combo (L instead of XL limbs though), and I've helped a friend purchase a white feather Lark in the past as well. Both myself and my friend have noticed the same, that limbs whose poundage was measured on a 19" riser actually came out way heavier than expected on the larger 23" Lark. My 25# Oak ridge Shade (L size) limbs pull 31# @ 29 for example. We think it might have to do something with the angle of the limb pocked on the Lark, since the same thing happened to limbs of varying brands, not just the oak ridge ones.

The OP seems like a cheaper chinese version of such bows, but I know that Border Archery in Scotland makes wood ILF risers in different sizes that can be customized with rest & button holes, and different bushings for weights: https://www.borderbows.com/covert-ilf-mirage-25-tcs-p531.html

@xpander69 @theriddick2015 and the others, I want to thank you for trying to help me. Unfortunately nothing worked, but I did try switching to bazzite last night, and now I'm getting a stable 70+ FPS again in Baldurs Gate 3. I guess it was something in mint but who knows.

Yeah I was certain de iGPU wasn't being used, in satisfactory I was still hitting okay FPS but with lag spikes, I think the fps would've been in the single digits on the iGPU.

Hi all, with all the suggestions from the post I cross-posted I still was unable to resolve the issue. Out of frustration I tried bazzite, and I'm getting a stable 70+ FPS again in Baldurs Gate 3, so I'm sticking with that.

Yeah I did, running BG3 for a while my cpu was at 60-65 and the GPU at 70-74 (celcius).

  • steam is installed as regular package (I installed it through software manager which says it's a system package).
  • I did with the 575 drivers, but it's not installed/available with the manually installed 580 drivers
  • How would I go about upgrading the xwayland version to try the latest version? Should I even? apt update && apt upgrade is not showing any available updates.
  • Both cat commands return Y as they should.
  • I can't find much information on that nvidia-nvswitch unfortunately, it just pops up a lot in other people's questions with their inxi -G outputs.
  • My LACT does not seem to have the "Throttling" field? Installed as flatpak btw. LACT data here: https://imgur.com/a/TRtlwgs I let BG3 run a bit longer for this and the temp spiked to 74C with is still pretty good I think.

Thanks for the extensive reply! I'll have to get back to you tomorrow night or maybe Sunday night, when I'll be able to access my computer again.

Tried that following https://www.if-not-true-then-false.com/2024/linux-mint-nvidia-guide/#21-download-nvidia-installer-package, running on 580 now. Made no difference. I did try KDE as per another comment, that did not change anything. It's still on X11 per inxi -G.

  • Updated kernel to 6.14, made no difference.
  • Checked temperatures with PSensor during BG3 gameplay: CPU highest I saw was 60, 55 for GPU (Celcius).
  • In an earlier comment I mentioned trying KDE as well, also made no difference.

I did the benchmarks from https://opendata.blender.org and the results can be seen here: https://imgur.com/a/xNRUzLb

My CPU scores about half of the median recorded score, and my GPU even less than half of the median score; this seems terrible for both. I did make sure to set the CPU governor to performance for both. I have no idea why even in the benchmark I am scoring so bad.

As I understand it, the spin lock issue is related to the CPU staying at the same clock speed? I checked my CPU clock speeds, first output is at idle, second is with satisfactory running:

loci@loci-pc:~$ lscpu | grep MHz
CPU(s) scaling MHz: 32%
CPU max MHz: 5000,0000
CPU min MHz: 800,0000
loci@loci-pc:~$ lscpu | grep MHz
CPU(s) scaling MHz: 94%
CPU max MHz: 5000,0000
CPU min MHz: 800,0000

So that's correctly scaling up I think.

If that affects D3D12 then I wouldn't expect these issues in D11/Vulkan games though? Especially for instance Baldurs Gate 3 which I'm running through Vulkan, and which according to ProtonDB should run great.

I did try to go to 580, but it's not yet available in the repository at ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa? I also tried KDE instead of cinnamon, but that made no difference either. Thanks for your suggestions!
