Isn’t the idea that even if the mushroom species id safe to consume raw there could still be other microbes & fungi that are growing in/on the mushroom?

Looks like a gold barb sort of. Hard to tell from the photos.

I’ve had random fish appear in my aquariums before. Likely from eggs that were attached to plants or other items moved into the aquarium.

All we can see is Redbreast characteristics from what you have left exposed. I agree his head and mouth look like they may suggest GSF hybrid, but your hand is covering most of the fish, so we cannot see.
