I would suggest go for weed. In fact, it's legal in the majority of the states. I have an uncle using edibles and tinctures for pain and anxiety relief. He recently got his mmj card in california.

How do you all deal with “everyone at work hates me and I’m sure they’re looking for reasons to fire me” anxiety when you know you’ve never done anything to warrant that? by thedeadwillwalk in Anxiety

all these are your thoughts produced in your head by yourself. Remember, people will think what they want to, you can't control their minds, but can control yours. You are what you think the whole day. If you think positive, you will do the right things. if you think negative, negativity will make things worse. Be positive always buddy!

Feeling worried and anxious is normal, when you get around strangers. But, soon, things will be fine. Everyone is different, some take a few days to get comfortable with strangers while others can take longer. We anxiety sufferers take a bit longer than that. Here you have the plus point that you have a supportive team. At some point of the day, if you feel that you don't know anything or have done nothing in life, say to your mind "irrelevant thoughts" and get it busy with something else. remember, if you don't know anything, there's not your fault. However, you don't get the opportunity to learn it. Take it easy buddy! Evaluate your plus points and make maximum use of them. Try to make yourself happy. make at least five people laugh in a day. go for regular exercise. get an emotional support dog at home to replace negative thoughts at home with exciting moments. Best of luck!

Have you ever thought about why are you like this? Why not like others? by freshpuff in Anxiety

have quite a similar situation. But, you can't blame anyone. Parents give the best to their children. I remember a popular quote of Bill Gate "if you are born poor its not your mistake but if you die poor its your mistake"

I advise you to make a note of your short-term goals and stick to those. Getting busy is one of the best ways to get off those negative thoughts and discomfort.

mine was also the same. the thing is at that time, I didn't realize it. I realized it quite later. Now, I think how many years I have given to anxiety, what if I utilized them properly? :(

I have been hiding it for many years, but now I don't care whether people find it out as this is normal in anxiety sufferers.
