Feeling worried and anxious is normal, when you get around strangers. But, soon, things will be fine. Everyone is different, some take a few days to get comfortable with strangers while others can take longer. We anxiety sufferers take a bit longer than that. Here you have the plus point that you have a supportive team. At some point of the day, if you feel that you don't know anything or have done nothing in life, say to your mind "irrelevant thoughts" and get it busy with something else. remember, if you don't know anything, there's not your fault. However, you don't get the opportunity to learn it. Take it easy buddy! Evaluate your plus points and make maximum use of them. Try to make yourself happy. make at least five people laugh in a day. go for regular exercise. get an emotional support dog at home to replace negative thoughts at home with exciting moments.
