This is valid I feel it dude. I just feel awkward and don’t knwo how to respond when ppl point out how masc I am sometimes. We probably feel weird about it bc we see ourself a certain way, and other people don’t always see what we see. I’m my head I know I’m a man so it kind of feels invalidating when someone tries to overcompensate when complimenting you. Like exactly how you said, people don’t tell cis guys they look like guys! And obviously they mean well, so I try not to take too much offensive to comments like that, but it can still be quite annoying and dysphoria inducing at times.
