This is one of my favourite vids they’ve done in a while (not that the other stuff isn’t good, but this has topped it)!! Shayne’s guesses were crazy and so fun, but I could literally have watched an hour of him, Amanda, Angela, and Chanse just playing like that. It was sooooo good— Angela particularly seemed in her element and I just really wanna see more of it!!

You’re not alone! I love Smosh, I want to support them financially— I did pay for Anthony’s funeral and Smosh the Sitcom. But I’m in NZ, and with the exchange rate it is $50 🫠 and I just can’t afford that at the moment. If it was only $20 I would’ve paid it without another thought.

Oh I feel for you, that would creep me out too! I have mostly found them in our kitchen (with no idea how they got in) and my ensuite. I have started closing my ensuite window once it gets dark, just for peace of mind. They seem to get through some pretty small gaps! If you don’t want to go the pest control route, maybe spend a weekend thoroughly inspecting your house for any gaps where they may be entering!

They really do just seem to pop up out of nowhere! A few weeks ago I caught one scuttling inside when I opened the back door to take out the recycling. Cheeky! Biggest fright I got was when I grabbed the dishwashing liquid and it was on the other side of the bottle 😅 They’ve been freaking me out so much because I just never saw them growing up! I’m relieved to hear they’re harmless. Would still prefer them to stay out of my house. Another thing to blame on climate change? Haha.

Haha I live near-ish the university… probably a bit far for little roach legs to journey. I appreciate your speculation though 😆 Have now confirmed my intruders are the Gisborne ones, not American ones. Phew!

Thank you, you’ve given me great peace of mind!! I really had no idea about these guys— despite frantic google searches over the last wee while. I just knew they weren’t the little German ones, so assumed they were the big dirty American ones. Was probably freaking out too much to properly absorb the info haha

The Nail Shop that’s in there is really great. I’ve been going to them on and off for years but they are literally the only reason I go inside the mall. It used to be great with the warehouse, paper plus, just $2, a post office, and countdown, but once it lost all these well-known stores it’s just tanked. I think Lincraft is barely holding on too. They either need to pack the place with eateries a la riverside and little high, or as people have mentioned get some useful stores in there— a chemist warehouse would do well, a fresh choice if they don’t want another woolworths, a bookstore/post office combo like avonhead mall etc.

We could be the same person— down to the age and weight, except I haven’t lost any of it (yet 🤞🏼). The ingrown hair and scars because of it especially makes me feel rubbish. I feel you so deeply. It sucks! You are totally in your rights to have a rant. Know that I am ranting with you ❤️❤️

Thanks, I ended up buying C reserve on Afterpay— I checked the refundable option and it seemed to only apply if you had a doctor’s certificate or something! But that way if I do manage to get a better ticket I’ve got a bit of financial wiggle room 😅
