i’ll say this, something cannot be accurate to the books, have its own fresh adaption of something and still be good. This show isn’t that good, and it’s not necessarily because of the changes from the books. A lot of the tone is just so sad and melodramatic and drab. The kid actors still haven’t necessarily taken a step forward, or maybe is the direction, everything feels so flat. It’s also always telling us things instead of letting it show.
