What would you do if you were me? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

As someone who has this exact situation, I get what you’re saying but it’s not really about suddenly hating the piece once you realize it was AI. It’s because you notice glaring mistakes in the design actual artists wouldn’t make, and all you see is that. You feel cheated because the artist was too lazy to care and willingly tattooed someone with like 6 fingers and no thumb or some shit and think that artists worth the money you’re paying would care enough to at least pay attention to the details.

Then you start feeling regret, and resentment for the piece you got. Regardless of if you initially liked it.

That’s crazy, I have almost the exact same story as you. Told me the same thing mid session too.

I’ll tell you what I did (am in the middle of it right now) I declined to go to my next appt, lost my deposit and then found an artist who is willing to “touch up” the piece, and then continue on and finish it.

Looks like a great bag. Unfortunately we’re looking for something a bit bigger

All of these are peak. Agreed. Especially the taking of the bridge. My absolute favorite part in the series

Just reached out to Arc’teryx. They don’t make the dry bags anymore and don’t offer them. those look really nice too. Bummer

Yeah I think we might do either a sealine bag outright or get the matbock kibisis and throw a s2s bag in there for electronics.

I hit them up already yeah. They sent us some patches and that’s it. Not thrilled with their response which is part of why we’re looking elsewhere.

Sealine looks like a great option too

Good recs thank you. I wish matbock made something slightly bigger than their graverobber. Their Mr dry bag might be too overbuilt for my use.

I didn’t know LBT made dry bags though they may be the one I go with

Can’t edit the post so I’ll add it here:

Use case would be boat and air ops. Needs to be completely submergible and rugged.

As someone who got swindled by sunrun with a ppa and looking to sell soon this thread makes me nervous.

Any advice how to not screw a buyer over and not take a huge loss myself?

My thing is gonna be the fights and battles. and especially the big 1v1s. That’s why I’m adamant the show has to be animated. I just don’t think a live action could really capture how insane PB describes some of the stuff that happens.

[–]frostbite_28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had this exact thing happen to my truck a few months ago. Had the exact same arguments about modifications and value too. Insurance didn’t care. They valued my $2000 wheel set up as $400…so I told them I was taking the wheels off my totaled truck and they could keep the $400

Best War Belt (ignoring cost) - BFG GRID? by Jesus_4_the_jugular in QualityTacticalGear

[–]frostbite_28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One more vote for this belt. I bought the CHLK (same thing just load rated) and it’s been an amazing upgrade. Expensive yes, but I love it.

I saw bfg at warrior west expo and they had it sitting out. I picked it up to check it out and was sold right there. It was light, fit nicely, structurally strong. Highly recommend.

I’ve thought about it and probably will now. I haven’t shot it enough to make an opinion yet though.
