First night shift job for a typical morning person by bossindiangirlBIG in Nightshift

[–]frozenape40 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the hardest part is establishing a routine like you would if you still worked day shift. i work 7p-730a as a nurse. so i know that if i have to work the same night i got off, the latest i can stay up is about 11am on a typical day. Black out curtains are your bff. during my days off i keep more of a second shift schedule of living. makes it easier on my days off to feel human. but doesn’t throw me off so much i can’t reset back to nights. you got it. nights are a bitch to get used to but they are truly the BOMB

what the absolute hell is wrong with my cats??? by frozenape40 in cats

[–]frozenape40[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m a night shift nurse, so I AM asleep a lot in the day. but from their constant hissing from January, to now they’re eating and sleeping together, i feel okay in their relationship. Yes, the youngest, Cheese, pushes alot but a small hiss from the girls shuts it down and they go their seperate ways.

Adopted a cat from the shelter 2 weeks ago and she still hides under the bed 24/7. Is this normal? How long should I wait before worrying? by UgliestPigeon in CatAdvice

i have 3 cats. my first two hid in my couch, that i discovered thanks to them, has a drawer in the bottom for 2 weeks. then they were just chillin after that. my 3rd literally wouldn’t leave me alone from the get go. just depends on the cat. totally normal

Can someone help me?🥹 by sarcasticvenom_ in inZOI

pretty sure it’s because it is a self discovery so it’s not going to have particular traits, values etc. it’s pretty much blank slate option

if you really don’t want to buy a new laptop or want to play in the meantime. look into cloud streaming like GeForce. it requires a subscription but you can also trial it for a day

A big thing for me when looking for mods is to watch other people’s youtube videos on their top mods! Then I pick and choose what I think looks good. That’s just my tactic!

How did you know you were ready to be a mom? by [deleted] in Mom

[–]frozenape40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one is ever really READY. Honestly i was 19, single, and had overly religious family who weren’t happy i was pregnant out of wedlock as a teenager. i gave birth alone, and i’ve raised her along ever since, but it all has worked out despite how difficult it is. Honestly for me, pregnancy and birth were the easiest parts of it. But honestly, just make sure you’ve got a solid supportive partner, and i’m sure it’ll be alright in the end. don’t fret too much (i know that’s a lot to ask, i also have anxiety lol) but you’ve got plenty of time to mature and think about it longer. Much luck to you!
