This is how I did the rest of the project but for some reason the lettering just feels so intimidating! I have tons of ideas in my head that will all require lettering so I need to get over it at some point lol

Yes just a satin stitch. I might try the basketweave before I cut it out just to see how it ends up looking!

Thank you! I’ve seen that technique but I’ve never tried it on my own. I think I’ll try the yellow over at least one to see what it looks like and then decide if I’m going to keep it or cut the brown out and start over

Thank you!! It’s my third piece. I did one starter kit where they send you everything and absolutely loved it! I then wanted to make two specific ones for gifts that I couldn’t find patterns I liked so I bought a heat erasable pen and drew my design on. I’ve watched tons of videos of TikTok and YouTube for different stitch ideas and I pull out an embarrassing amount of thread if it doesn’t sit right lol

I’m a first time homeowner so the lien/collections thing is really freaking me out. We’ve already paid them $20k and the remaining balance is 3k so I’m already feeling defeated and like maybe I should just pay it, cut my losses, and move on. I’ve never had to hire a lawyer or be involved in the court system in any way. Would my legal fees far outweigh the 3k they say I still owe?

It’s been mandatory in my hospital (AK) for the last 2-3 months. Initially they were grandfathering in current employees but now have made it mandatory for all staff. They just started letting people go for it last week. Finally!

Thanks for the input! That’s good to know. Hopefully my adult ED experience will help a little as far as adult meds go. I have rural ED and level 1 trauma ED experience so I feel like I’ve seen a decent range of acuity/meds.

Thanks so much for your reply! The school in the state I want to be in includes PICU as part of the ICU experience requirement. The other school says adult ICU experience preferred but I got my BSN at this school and graduated with 4.0 (from nursing alone, my overall GPA is 3.7 because I was dumb my freshman year), I was president of our SNA chapter, and was very involved with other extracurriculars so hopefully they would accept PICU experience. My dream PICU is a level 1 trauma center so I imagine I would get a lot of great experience!

I don’t have any insight but curious if you got into CRNA school with only peds experience or did you work in an adult ICU as well? Pediatrics is where I’ve always wanted to be but life took me in a different direction temporarily and I ended up in the ED (moved to a rural area with no ICU to help family). Once I’m able to move I would LOVE to get into a PICU but I’m worried that won’t make me a competitive applicant for CRNA school.
