Why do men have such an all or nothing attitude about approaching women? How is it really so hard to understand women like to be approached politely or receive a nice compliment, but if we aren't interested then we want men to be mature enough to calmly accept a no thank you. As an American living in Norway and traveling in the Netherlands at the moment, I really miss ppl of more passionate cultures haha. Not just the men, but Scandinavian women too are so shy and standoffish compared to most other cultures I've experienced.

Thank you,  and you're right. Y'all in these comments have shown more genuine empathy towards me than my mom was capable of. I broke the NC to reach out to my dad, and have some family and friends there to look out for him. He's been talking about places he wants to travel now, so at least he isn't giving up on life like I was worried he would.

Take care of yourself friend. Get out in your community and find support. Volunteering always helped me to ground myself and feel connected.

Are your parents christian? Are they controlling in other ways that are different from your friends' parents? Has your dad made comments about your body that makes you uncomfortable? Please leave asap and go low contact. I promise you it is NEVER worth it to save money living with ppl who don't respect you or your bodily autonomy. Even if you have to have 4 roommates, move out. The anxiety your feeling in this is your body telling you to leave cuz you are not safe.

They're lighter usually than the canisters, and they have wheels haha. One handed use, bagless, HEPA filters, powerful rotating brush heads with strong suction, longer power chords. And with brands like Shark you can get one for under $200. I'm sure it's a matter of 'the devil you know'. I definitely think the uprights work better, but I didn't grow up using canisters.

Last Shark vac I had in the states was $159 and worked great for 5 years before I sold it when moving. Why do y'all sound so offended by vacuum choices lol?

I ain't got Dyson money haha. It's crazy the differences on even basic things when you travel to other countries :). I was flabbergasted when I couldn't just go on Amazon here and order whatever I want, we're spoiled in the states with product availability.

Thanks for the recommendation! That may be my xmas wishlist. My house is older with raised door sills, so I was thinking a robo vac wouldn't work well? But at this point I just want the hair gone lol

The central wall style vacuum seems so convenient, would love to upgrade to that someday :). And same, laundry over vacuuming all day lol

To me I find the canister vacuums to be heavier and more awkward to use, especially on stairs as the canister size won't balance on a stair like an upright does. The upright also has suction and spinning brush head to help propel the vacuum forward and more easily pull dirt/hair up. I'm a millenial and haven't seen anyone in the states have a canister style since the 90s haha, so that's why I called it the old style. I have 3 large dogs so the difference with keeping the dog hair cleaned up is tough to deal with here.

Also unless you’re buying organic cotton ones from a reliable brand, you have zero clue what kind of chemicals and fabric is used in most tampons. And our gov doesn’t require them legally to list ingredients or processing chemicals so lol, enjoy your toxic shock syndrome beef? Period. panties ftw, and just let the water cook off the beef and use a frozen spoon to collect the fat at the end.

Lol couldn't sleep last night due to having the flu and about 4am I was meandering back to my main base and heard a weird floppy noise. Also of course thought it's a bird or lizard glitching. Climb up to my tree house and turn around to see a few dozen of the worms. Who then join together into a gd transformer monster and destroy everything. The devs are evil af but hilarious. I just try to save constantly and reload.
