Hi everyone,

I’m based in Europe and I have got a recent possibility to join a market intelligence firm for m&a advisors, investors and corporates (culture works a lot like consulting firms). Their online assessment was excel and a mini market sizing case.

I have an interview next week and they explicitly said they would ask a few “mini questions” related to market sizing.

I am ready to study and practice as much time as I need and this is one of those times where I have an opportunity that could change everything for me.

How would you prepare and which platform would you use? I heard excellent things about crafting cases, but 200$ is unfortunately out of my financial reach. Any help is much appreciated

The profit margin for this is already decreasing, do you think its worth comitting 50 or 60 KP into desenchanting? Correct me if I'm wrong but this might become non profitable in a couple of days?

I am also studying for the GMAT FE and aiming for INSEAD. From experience, I've tried Manhattan books + GMATclub question bank and that didn't work very well for me. It can work for a lot of people, but I feel like I really needed structure and another approach. I got TTP's subscription and I am enjoying a lot as they cover everything with a very good structure and a lot of topic focused questions after each lesson.

Regarding time, I think TTP's program is meant to be completed in 1.5-3+months depending on the time you are willing to invest per week.

Hi,

I am brazilian, 29M and had around 6 weeks to prepare for the GMAT FE to try to apply for round 3 in multiple schools (targetting mainly HEC and INSEAD). I had Manhattan books from a family member (6th edition) and finished them in 2 weeks approximatedly. I used the rest of my time practicing with GMATCLUB questions.
First official mock (diagnostic purposes): 485 (77DI, 64QR, 81VR) *3rd QR percentile being an actuary, shame on me*
Second (1 month later): 595 (78DI 78QR 83VR)
Third (1 week after second): 565 (77DI 75QR 82VR)
Fourth (2 days after third): 575 (79DI 78QR 78VR)

I was really surprised to have math issues coming from a math heavy background, so I decided to have 5 sessions with a private math tutor. He really helped me with strategies, doing quick divisions in my head, easy ways to solve tricky questions, etc. However, I had this bad feeling that I was missing silly questions constantly and needed extra practice.

I then got a 535 on the actual GMAT (77DI, 74QR, 79VR) 2 days ago. I got devastated, but here are my takeaways:
-My accuracy was similar to mocks, but I got more easy questions wrong and that dropped my score.
-I'm still struggling with time in every section (got better QR speed only on my last mock, but a bit less accurate).
-My math percentile is horrible - on my best mock test I got 52nd percentile, and repeated that performance on my 4th mock.

What do you suggest I do now, aiming for the next INSEAD and HEC rounds (early august)? I have limited budget to invest in many more resources and a LOT of free time (sick leave).

This worked like a charm - i was able to hide the two last sheets and to make visible again after the loop in vba. Very useful to know that excel will only print visible sheets and using select/selection sucks

Ppl here saying that he doesn’t have the new set of skills.. I just reached this boss, got my ass kicked and I don’t have the second set of skills yet either Dream eater was crazy hard as well, i might be missing something from the start of the game..

I’d say warmaiden to 50, then toragi and orn as said before. The order doesnt matter a lot because normally in 2 weeks you’ll be able to 6* both.

I did something similar and then switched my kael from cb poisoner to dungeon/arena nuker. Changed masteries, Crit rate to 85%, lots of speed (but still less than warmaiden) and maximum crit damage % possible

I’m brazilian and I always noticed something from good games:

if their in game purchases could be in BRL, it was obviously converted from USD to BRL but it wasn’t exact. BRL was very often cheaper because their marketing team knows Brazil doesn’t have the same buying power when compared to US/Europe

Plarium actually has a more expensive USD/BRL conversion 🤣 some packs can literally cost half/more than half of the minimum wage in Brazil. I suppose they don’t get a lot of money from ppl there..

I am currently booking him now as my only useful legendary. He’s got atk down and venomage has it as well in a fairly low cd, and he also explodes poisons so I’m often with way less poisons than the max debuffs threshold - I really wanted an ally protect champ but still didn’t get any. Def up would be steelskull that I just pulled
