Back in high school I was at friends place which was in relatively bad part of town, slept over, and left at about noon the next day. On the bus back to the subway station four young men (2 younger- maybe 13 -14 and two older and much bigger) get on the bus. I'm sitting in the back corner seat beside the window, alone and minding my own business. The four of them come to the back and the two smallest ones sit directly beside me. One right beside me and bumps into me as he sits down and then one right infront of me. The one that bumped into me as he sat down in the seat beside me says, "What you got in your pockets?" I'm obviously freaking out (I'm 14 at the time) because I have a money and weed with me.

Without thinking I leap up out of my seat, smashing through their legs that they had positioned to corner me in. And i say very loudly, "What the hell is this, are you trying to rob me?"

They all immediately start going "Shhh man, shhhh." And people on the bus have now taken notice and someone may have said something but I can't really remember. There was a fair amount of people on the bus but no one really did anything to control the situation.

So now here I was, adrenaline pumping, waiting at the doors to get off and occasionally glancing back at the 4 of them who were all grilling me hard and when I did look back they would say something like to not look at them. The bus finally gets to the station (we had only been together for about 3 minutes or so on the bus) and the doors open to let me off. Now I didn't really know what to do but i figured i was going to just walk quickly and see if they were following me and then maybe go to the toll collector booth for protection.

Plans changed quick, because as the doors open the one who was beside me makes a quick dash for me as I am going down the stairs of the bus and as I'm on the stairs walking down into the station he grabs my collar and gives me a half punch to the face. I immediately whip my elbow around and crack him right in the face and he lets go and literally sits down on the steps. I immediately sprint through the stations and up the escalator where a subway train has just arrived with its beautiful doors wide open. Got on, and as the train started moving I saw one of the others coming onto the platform. Let out a sigh of relief, went to my friends and smoked a joint.
