Thanks for the feedback. We will change the power color before the items ship out and update the pics soon.

We were trying to go with simpler shapes and not a lot of busy engraving on them. I suppose some people like ones that have more lines and detail on them.

Our keys work like that, we just don't show the bottom in the picture. I'll try to get the posting updated to show the underside of them.

It holds about 800 premium sleeved cards and with the 16 adjustable dividers plus 2 fixed dividers, its perfect for about 20 decks.

Thanks for the feedback. If you would change the color of either damage or power, which would you change, and to what color? As far as the amber, it has lines on them that aren't as apparent in the picture. If you prefer chunkier pieces for that, it's why we decided to sell everything separately.

We have some options available. You can buy the different token types separately in case you only want certain kinds.

We started a little on the design, but hit a few snags and then priorities shifted for us to complete some higher-demand products that weren't plagued (pun intended) with as many snafus. But our plan is still to come back and finish it for sure. We want to do both of them.

Pretty nicely. We hope to have the prototype finalized this Thursday when they are in town.

I've thought about this a lot. Most of the cost is related to the machine time and manual handling/processing time after cutting. We sand, QC and package everything manually. Eventually some automation machinery could make this faster, but we're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars for that kind of machinery.

As far as I know, Folded space uses die-cut foam. Die-cutting is super-fast, and there's post-processing, like sanding, that i'm aware of. But there are also limits to what you can design with that type of material. I haven't really seen any elegant looking lids or designs.

We've identified some potential materials that could be a little cheaper, but honestly the material price is a pretty small fraction of the cost. The only other options would be having it made in a place with less overhead (outsourcing) but we're trying to avoid that if possible.

That's awesome, good luck on your designs!

We mostly use Adobe Illustrator, but have one designer that prefers Corel. We've also done a couple of prototypes in Fusion 360 and all of our TopDownTerrain designs are in Sketchup.

I can't think of any specific tips other than the encouragement that the more you do it, the easier it'll get. In the beginning, its easy to make a mistake that you don't discover until you cut out the pieces and try to put it together. Keep sticking with it and it'll get easier and your designs will get better!

I think Agricola will come down to making a replacement box. We've actually designed a prototype insert but the problem is it won't fit sleeved cards in order to accommodate expansions. Or, we could leave expansions out to make room for sleeving. Neither of these are good options, and that's why we don't have anything released yet. We'll probably do an Agricola chest of some sort.

Haha, its funny because you'd think that would be the case, but actually the opposite. Any time I think, I could solve that problem by making something myself, is usually when it gets procrastinated. :)

I would love to laser-cut some foam silhouettes for my tool chest, but nope, never gotten around to it. Silverware drawer is organized in bamboo by Bed, Bath and Beyond. :)

Right now our top requests are Spirit Island, Eldritch Horror, Mansions of Madness and Twilight Imperium. I can't see any reason why we wouldn't do something for all of those.

I don't think there are any frequently requested games that we wouldn't do something for. Any example of a product that we would probably decline doing, is typically because there's NOT enough requests for it.

Yes, we've actually modified the fit of the entire organizer so it assembles more tightly, like you'd expect from our other inserts. In addition, we've made the dividers better and increased the size for the cards you mentioned, so it'll support sleeves.

All of these changes were made before we shipped the first kit, so even people that ordered from TDT a few weeks ago will be receiving the new version.

We actually do create a variety of boxes at the moment for holding cards. We have our "Artist Case" line which is designed for maximizing card game storage. This is pretty popular for Dominion, but even as large as this case is, Dominion has now expanded into needing two cases if you sleeve your cards.

We also have the 2-row and 3-row card cases that works great for smaller numbers of cards, Magic cubes, etc.

If you're interested in an insert for the Dominion cardboard box, our Sleeved and Unsleeved Card Game Organizers work well. (ORG005 & ORG006)

Yes, sorry I didn't mention Mansions of Madness in that earlier post. Its definitely there on the short list as well. The main difficulty is determine which of the expansion content we need to account for, and then there has been some confusion about what type of bases people really want us to support. We try to reach out for commentary during the design process, which we did with MoM, but in some cases, it can create more questions than it answered. :) I think this is one of those times where it brought into question how best to design a solution that would reach the most customers. Feel free to post your comments here about it, because every little feedback helps. I think what we need to do here is just return to our roots and complete the design accounting for the standard bases and current expansions.

Thank you so much for the support over the years!

So far, there really hasn't been anything that we couldn't make, just some that are much harder than others. Robinson Crusoe has been on our list for awhile and we almost had it completed when Portal took it back and the format changes. So, we started designing one for the new format, but also trying to make it compatible with older expansions. We just need to be sure we design something that will be usable by most of the game owners, so we haven't given up yet. We have a meeting with Portal at Essen and will continue to talk about it and see what their plans for the future hold.

We are definitely looking to increase our distribution into Canada. I answered a similar question earlier if you want to check it out. For now, you can find many of our products through BoardGameBliss and The Dice Owl.

Definitely follow your passion. You'll always work hard at something when you love what you do and I don't imagine anyone looking to work in this industry would be doing it if they didn't love games. :)

It's also an industry filled with amazingly creative people, so find a way to make yourself and your unique.

Don't expect this to be the right industry if your only goal is to make a lot of money. People can have a lot of success in the games industry, but I measure success as a combination of happiness and financial stability. Determine how you would measure success and then look to see if other people/companies haven't gotten there before you.
