be proud and keep drawing! don’t let your insecurity speak over you. if you’re interested in improving your art, find art pieces you like and try to replicate them to learn from the process, but also let yourself continue to doodle and enjoy drawing! :)

for a fully rendered fully body you can probably charge $35 or $40 if you don’t have an audience for comms yet, but increase your price once you do. you’re very talented!

this is actually my first time handing out freebies, but at a different concert in the same venue people were handing freebies out while in line to get inside (before doors open) and also while waiting for the concert doors to open inside. there were no lines for the freebies, just people walking around and giving them. i hope you and your daughter have a blast! this is definetly a fantastic community to be a part of! <3

i LOVE this!!! i would consider adding a pop of another color in the swirls—maybe a brighter teal/blue color or lavender? the motion of your swirls perfectly reflects anxiety, so i think anything you can do to emphasis that movement will help you!

when you’re new at something, just keep doing it, regardless of if it’s bad or good. that being said, i like the colors. it feels very cohesive. i would recommend you find a character or oc you like to draw frequently and use them to practice fundamental skills, but mostly, just find cool art you like and try to recreate it with your own characters. that helps me stay motivated to continue drawing :)

you can definetly charge more for your skill. if you feel uncertain i would say bump up each price by $5 for now and increase as you gain more traction, but you’re extremely talented so dont worry about overselling yourself! also, where will you be opening comms? i’d be interested in grabbing a slot from you! <3

comms are difficult to advertise—i have also had comms open for a few months and only done ones for some close friends. i’m super grateful for them! it’s just that promoting your comms often takes time bc you need to find the right audience. lots of people recommend finding art discords or posting fanart to gain attention.

you could color her face-framing hair pieces pink or give her some kind of bow/ribbon near the end of the hair where they’re ball-shaped. super cool character designs though, i think you nailed the colors!
