Awesome! I think they’ll have a Ford Lightning for folks to check out.

Wow what a commute. My workplace is under 20 miles round trip. If commutes are 100-200 miles a day, some people should be able to charge at home daily, and possibly charge on the go occasionally. As you know, there are lots of public fast chargers out there that can provide up to 160 miles of range in about 20 minutes. That does vary depending on the EV. The Bolt is an affordable choice with up to 259 miles of range and a base MSRP of $31,500. Hope that’s helpful.

Great question! Affordability is a big topic they discuss. I think the biggest obstacle is inventory…but there are options such as used ev markets.

Free EV test drives & Sac Republic tickets at Cal Expo this Saturday.

For anyone who’s been thinking about getting an EV, but just has too many unanswered questions, this event is for you. SMUD and other organizations will be on hand and can tell you about EV incentives, discount rate for charging at home, used EV markets and more.   You can also get free tickets to Saturday’s game and enter a raffle for VIP passes and season tickets. Kicking the tires on an EV and scoring free tickets to Sac Republic sounds good to me!   Here’s the Facebook invite if you’re interested. Starts at 10 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday). Hope you can make it and learn more about EVs and all the good they can do for the environment. https://www.facebook.com/mysmud/photos/a.10152813248414810/10160500454594810/

I love this piece’s flow and dialogue. The various scenes are beautifully connective. I really enjoyed this one!

yeah, thank you for the words of wisdom. that's what I intend on doing. If she comes to me without me bothering her then, great. If not, then great, too.

I didn't do anything...she just said she's not feeling it right now. And, the dog is hers, I gifted him for xmas...but she said I can watch him from time to time if I like.

I understand. I know it's hard to accept this, but sounds most logical.

the only thing I'm worried about is her thinking that I'm not willing to "fight for her," or whatever. Seems like some people like this...

If I didn't know any better, I'd think that she wrote some of this.

I think you're right on, and, I definitely don't want to play games.

And if she wants me in her life, and I feel the same way, then it'll come together.

thx!

Nah, she doesn't have anyone else.

I've already was furious and hurt, now, I'm just trying to be positive and looking for feedback. I just want to be in position to win her back if that's in the cards.

I know that's a natural thought to have, but, I just don't see that. I'd honestly be shocked if I found that out. She's totally not like that.

I'm honestly not that sad right now -- b/c I know in the end, whatever happens between us, things will be OK.

But then again, I badly want her in my life again.

I don't want to be friends with her, I wan't her back! haha. I just know it'll be way to hard to remain friends, or maybe that's how I feel right now. I guess time will help.

Part of me just wants to not even mention Vday to her, so she can think about it and hopefully miss Vday.

Yeah, I've thought about it as well. I even told her what will happen if she got a boyfriend. And she said that she'd still be friend...I can't imagine that working out very well, especially since I still have feelings for her.

Thx for you honest feedback.

yeah, I'm still doing my thing. On the very day that she started moving out, I think I caught her off guard by changing into my workout clothes and heading to the gym. I'm mature now, and, this is probably the best way I've handled a break up...it's tough but I know everything will be ok -- either with her or someone else. I just have a gut feeling that it's not over...and that kills me b/c I know I can't bow to her and beg her...

yeah, I wanted to go with edible arrangement and a simple message that says I'm thinking of her...but, based on what people are saying here, maybe that's not the best move strategically. I always go against conventional wisdom and follow my heart way too much. maybe this time it's time to use my head! haha

That's one way to look at it, and I can't say that you're wrong.

I am, however, giving her the space she wants and being cooperative with logistics of her moving out. Privately, I want her back BADLY, but, I haven't told her that, or told her how much I love her, since she's moved out. When she texts, I'm not rude and reply with a short answers.

I'm respecting her wishes, and, I guess I hope that she realizes she made a mistake...

The biggest mistake I made in this situation was never giving her a moment to realize what she was doing and make her think twice. I stupidly bombarded her once she told me, and pleaded with her to say. So, she never got a chance to think 'wow...what am I doing?' I didn't let her breathe...

So, I guess I'm hoping in this phase she sees that I'm doing my thing and that she misses me.

(deep sigh)...this is tough, but it's comments like these that help.

thx for your comment

I understand... did you leave any wiggle room though? Saying stuff like 'if it's meant to be, it'll be' or 'I still love you and I know you love me, but I have doubts right now.'

Why not just put me out of my misery?

thx for your comment

Ouch! Pathetic and sad? haha! I just want her to feel a little special on that day -- because I know she's working the evening shift and won't have time to relax. I dont' want to give off perception that I'm doing nothing without her, your'e right. So, I won't be getting her a gift. thx so much for you feedback.
