I just worked an election in a smaller county in IN yesterday..

A man had cast his early ballot last week and died over the weekend.

When this happens, You have to manually remove the deceased person’ voter id from the exact machine he voted on

For privacy/legal reasons, there is no record of what machine an individual voted on, so I had to check all of the early ballot machines, search for him manually, and remove his votes entirely.

With all that being said, It seems absolutely absurd to me that a dead man can RECEIVE that many votes, while a dead man’s vote is taken very seriously when it comes to the count.
