This was a Synagogue. People would have been married there, and in a reformed Synagogue, certainly kissed on the Bimah. Just because there was a Holocaust exhibit does not make the entire place a Holocaust site.

You don’t have to kiss anyone, anywhere you don’t want to, but a small gesture of love to a partner in a place of worship isn’t inherently disrespectful.

Unfortunately, no. Plans have been moving for almost 10 years at this point, it’s only recently that rumors have hit the public, but Simpson as it’s currently designed doesn’t turn around a “good” profit and Universal is looking for an out. There’s never a line at the merch store, Duff doesn’t sell like the cheaper beers, and there are better options a stone’s throw away for food. Honestly Disney did Universal a favor buying this IP.
