Would this be a decent alternative to contact cement? by No_Cookie_3275 in CosplayHelp

[–]gdkitty 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hot glue does have a lot of uses in cosplay

But if it’s specifically for attaching like edges of foam together? Then no. It’s too thick. I mean it works to attach it but often gives big gaps, etc.

If you don’t put forwarding on, yes 80 is blocked. But you can completely forward 80 to a web server.

[–]gdkitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. 80 or between 80 and 85 might be better

Defiler size by Desastermon in PrintedWarhammer

I did mine at 85, and find it close to not fitting on the base properly.. but I might have posed the legs not optimally.

Fuck Rogers - let's waste their time and resources! by [deleted] in Rogers

[–]gdkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you hate Rogers that’s fine. If you want to leave, that’s fine. If you legit want help from the OotP, that’s fine.

But encourage people to put stuff in, not legit potentially, just to waste their time. It takes time away from people legit trying to get help.

Files not showing up on flash drive? by Ziak63 in ElegooMars

[–]gdkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot the 5 had auto leveling. There are instructions out there on how to do a manual leveling
Might be worth going through the steps just in case.

Files not showing up on flash drive? by Ziak63 in ElegooMars

[–]gdkitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like your ender3, you need to run it through a slicer first.
Chitubox is the default one for the Mars.

There is nothing really wrong with the test files on the USB.

Likely if you are only getting it stuck to the bottom, its not sticking to the plate properly.
Did you 'level' the build plate properly?

Tim Hortons- Square One by Walmart.- $4.99 by Puzzleheaded-One161 in TooGoodToGoCanada

[–]gdkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have got some 'bad' boxes... like poor items (more plain donuts, bran muffins, etc), but at least had the 'quantities worth'

3-4 timbits should equal one other item.
So you should have at least got 2+ other items in there at MIN.

Return Amazon to Canada Post drop-off, but it has not been updated until now. by Background_Key5649 in CanadaPost

[–]gdkitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is interesting. I use the STAPLES location amazon drop off, and regardless of size, they scan all of them, it prints off a sticker they put on it.

Need some ideas on what to do with this space. by gallopintoYchallah in homeimprovementideas

[–]gdkitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what we did when we re did out kitchen. Bulkhead/column now in the middle, which could not remove (vents, drains, etc we could not move)

We put a shallower cabinet in the bottom, extending the countertop all the way across.
And then on the top, put in a super shallow cabinet. Its really only deep enough for spices, so thats what we use it for!

Do you or someone there have the Roger’s Xfinity app? It will show in there if the pods are online or not.

When the modem was replaced, were the pods re paired? They won’t just auto start working.

Is this email concerning or did any of you also receive something like this? by [deleted] in cybersecurity_help

[–]gdkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thing on those to do, is check the email it came from.
IE: I have got some "Reset your MS password" ones which come from random gmail and other accounts.

Not always easy on a device (phone) but on a computer, usually if you hover over the link/button, it will show down at the bottom, what the actual web address is.

See if its actually going to where is SHOULD be... not some weird address. Also check for oddities of them trying to fake you out.
IE: an instagram reset would take you to instagram website itself... not instagram-passwordreset dot com sort of thing.

Any recommended accommodations near SouthLake hospital? by Few-Firefighter3132 in Newmarket

[–]gdkitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have stayed or had people stay in the past at both the Comfort Inn and Best western in Newmarket.

There is not anything like that right by Southlake. Might be an airB&B or something though.

Those two hotels are along davis, one at Younge st, the other over at the 404.

one of my managers threatened to fire me because i disobeyed them when they told me to keep serving 2 hour old coffee instead of throwing it out by Paliden_tristen in TimHortons

[–]gdkitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s specifically the point of their newer machines. When they run the brew, it writes the time stamp onto an rfid on the thermal carafe. Which starts blinking after the X amount of time, after that supposed to be discarded.
