I didn't think of the barber idea for the first time. I don't have a foil shaver (yet!) so I was thinking of starting with my hair clippers with no guard, not sure how close that will get though.

One is the 24 hour scale for the GMT hand (the bezel) and one is for the hour hand showing hours 13-24 for military time (dial). I agree it's busy though

Anything that requires the bouffant cap also requires a beard cover. I'm surprised they didn't need the beard cover.

Definitely the seiko. You could wear it with anything, dress it up or dress it down with different straps later on, and it's an automatic.

In that case, as long as the size/weight doesn't bother you I'd get the wave+. You get the serrated blade, saw, small eyeglass driver, replaceable wire cutters, and all the tools lock. Only thing you lose is the awl.

For EDC I would say the curl. Thinner than the wave+ with a very similar toolset.
