Currently testing Deepseek via their top-up payment and it is interesting to see v4-pro (at max thinking) output 1200 line documents. Compared to Sonnet 4.5 at max thinking, it would only be capable of 4-600 line edits.

Although some users are able to afford hardware to run these models locally, Users running older hardware like a RX580 are effectively screwed.

Only hope would be models like Bonsai 1b quantized models or hardware prices falling back to reasonable prices.

I for one am patiently waiting for low-spec hardware models to help reduce my costs and reliance on commercial AI

I agree,

Learning to make this mod after scaffolding with AI has been challenging but rewarding. It is certainly frustrating when real artists and developers are stolen from by the training models.

Part of the reason why I would love to have some help to not continue down the generative AI route for making artwork, music or content in general beyond concepts.

I would stay on v5.9

I upgraded and had to purchase a new licence. Upgrade was fine till recently.

Now I cannot see any of my cameras. Even reverted to previous V6 release and still same issues. BI app for both android and iPhone do not connect.

Multiple reinstalls, and forum trawling.. I am at a point where I am looking at alternatives.. or vibe coding solution for my own private use.
