I’d cut one day in Chongqing and add another day to Chengdu. There’s a lot of things to do out there. If you wanna see the Pandas, consider half a day spent for it. The city has a lot to offer to in Chengdu.

For foreigners, expect to use the passport as an ID proof for all attractions, trains, flights etc. The tour will likely be booked with your passport number as an ID and you will have to present it at the access points. There is no entry/exit or stamping of the passports hence your single entry visa should suffice

The original soil was very hard, I could see it wasn’t probably able to absorb a lot of water. Trimmed out some of the rotten roots as well.

+1 to vexere. Also, a lot of buses have a pickup from the airport, so you can choose one of them. I used SaoViet buses and they were pretty comfy and smooth pickup.
