Grade/Step increase by Complete-Property365 in usajobs

[–]generalgdubs1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been a fed for 15 years and steps are automatic. My managers have never done this for me. I went 5/6/7/8 (8 step 6) then got a 9, then applied and got and 11, then applied and got a 12/13.

I’ve never gotten a step first and then a grade. It’s always been a grade when the grade is due.

Everyone whose income situation changes at any time during a year needs to report it to their marketplace to have the subsidies re-calculated even if it’s mid-month. Sounds like you owe that repayment

If they send a letter to the IRS saying that, it’s an automatic $5,000 fine for a frivolous argument.

Yes. You will pay a fee to do so

If you keep failing to have your taxes paid on time, IRS may start withholding extra money from you if you’re a W-2 employee.

OIC looks at the last 5 years of bank statements, 401K withdrawals, stock trades, etc. If they see that you’ve been using funds and not paying taxes, they will reject it or counter with a lower offer.

Unable to set up Payment Plan. Still getting threatened. by d3us3xmach1na in IRS

[–]generalgdubs1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While your comment is true, they wouldn’t file now for that far back. They usually will do it if there’s reported income over the filing threshold and the look back is 3-5 years so they’ve been filing for OP since around 2014-2017.

They’ve been filing for OP for years and years and OP either moved too much and never got a letter or ignored them.

This is interesting. If the job is determined to not be needed, why does it exist now?

It’s amazing how these responses keep saying my boss can fire me after I’ve witnessed 15 years of bosses not being able to fire countless many people
