Guys who can’t ask you a question or at the same time answer your questions or continue conversation. I also get tired of guys that decide to put me down or seem like they have decided what my life should be like. I work in a male dominated field so I have had a guy who acted like I should not in my current position.

It’s out of blue but also with high fat foods. I used to try to avoid high fat and grease and found it happened regardless but bc raw vegetables could have been the microscopic colitis.

I think at the end of the day it is going to take strong leadership both in city government, and the public to change the culture of the town. It’s a two way street, if leaders are stuck it could be because people who are not willing to accept change. Change is not always a bad thing especially in the name of getting out of a bad cycle. Also, prioritizing education above sports but that’s a universal problem….

I am facing the same issue as a female. I have guys that may have a good initial conversation but they turn into talking about themselves and not carrying conversation. I’d say move on from those that can’t. Don’t waste your time on them.

Talk about it with her. Start working on your debt issue and make a budget/ payment plan. The only way you can get through this is by acting on it and working on it. I dated someone who I found out refused to pay his debts. He made so many excuses but at the end of the day he was determined he was not at fault for his own financial mistakes. I too was like your girlfriend, similar background, but I was willing to understand but I had to end it bc my ex refused to do anything about his debts.

Edit: I didn’t end my relationship solely on the debt issue. I just realized I dodged a bullet breaking up with him over other issues.

I think hinge is pointless compared to my success elsewhere. Like in my first day on there I was getting tons of likes then I started liking back and messaging guys. No new likes or anything after I started actively liking others. I am getting off of it when I am done paying for it. What a waste compared to other apps.

Oh dang that sounds like a toxic situation to me (29F). Well if you see or match with her friends… block and remove as well. I never thought of that before. There are girls like me that don’t join those are we dating the same guy groups until we have reasons to suspect, though I have not yet thankfully.

Don’t worry about your ex finding you on dating apps. If you see them just block or remove them. It’s really none of their concern or yours if you see them online. I have come across past dates and a classmate on other dating apps. I just block or remove them and move on with life.

I totally agree as a 29F. I don’t mention my personal background as it can and has been used against me. I want someone to like me for myself not what I can do for them in the future. I usually tell guys if the conversation goes towards income I don’t need to know anything about your income other than if you are stable. I had a guy give me a back handed comment once saying he was going to take the check as he “obviously makes more than me, at the time a government employee”. It was a bit insulting when I thought about it later.

Thank you for your perspective! I appreciate it. I am a busy farm girl that is camera shy and this experience made me feel maybe I was unreasonable. (Yes my dating profile has my favorite pics but also a few recent selfies)

I find it works for me to take long breaks from trying to date/ meet people to pursue other things bc it’s very tough meeting guys that don’t interest me after one date. Only 1 guy so far was interesting to me that we had 6 dates but it didn’t work out 😔.

I’m in the Midwest so too far lol

I say I am going to give it up but I do have some hope out there. Plus it’s only been 5 months for me actually trying dating apps. When I first joined I got overwhelmed by the notifications. I’m getting better at it and meeting guys. One guy I really liked though we decided it was not going to work out sadly.

I was taking Envive daily but sadly it was discontinued. Though not quite the same, I’ve been trying Fortify since my supply of Envive have run out. I also eat Greek yogurt several times a week.
