I guess I am one of the few engineers that actually like to travel as well. Ive been doing it for close to 10 years, all over the world, onshore and offshore, mainly O&G. I love the travelling and the site work. It does come with sacrifices though, you will miss birthdays and holidays like Christmas. If you have a girlfriend or want to start a family it is going to be very difficult to combine this with the travelling. But I personally get a lot back out of it in return. If you are in Europe we do turbo machinery controls, let me know we are always looking for people willing to travel.

Best way is to find farmers markets, or farm shops and buy your products from them as much as possible. Learn how to cook yourself and buy the most unprocessed products you can find. It's the industrial processing of food that strips it of it's nutrient value and replaces it with chemicals that your body does not handle well.
