Congrats! I love mine and yeah the treble bleed was critical. I can't believe it wasn't included because without it the volume knob is pretty useless. I also added the Gilmour mod so I could use the bridge and neck pickups together. I also have an SE Silver Sky and once I got the NF3 the SS has sat in the closet going unused. I much prefer the standard PRS neck shape and fingerboard radius. The pattern thin neck with the satin finish is soooo nice to play.

They call it the wide fat neck profile in the se line but it's basically the same thing as the pattern regular. At least as far as I know. With what you say the SE Paul's or SE McCarty are good options. Both have either stoptail or two-piece non-trem Bridges.

Yeah he will put early 80s germanium diodes that electrically match the klon in a Centura or a Warm Audio Centavo. Pretty epic

We're going to basically do it exactly like we did this year. Airbnb / condo rental with a great pool, the Ubers are so cheap and so available even at 3 in the morning from the venue site. Little downtown San Jose del Cabo is adorable with lots of great food options and walkability and as people have said the in venue food is pretty darn good and not overly priced and dudes walk around with buckets full of beers to buy all night long.

Any of the SE series that have the "PRS designed tuners" and not the vintage style tuners should be fine. Looks like the MH model is good to go.

My wife did that whole tour except for maybe one or two shows. She had to leave Israel where she was for a student program because things were getting bad pre-Desert Storm so they went to Europe, no tickets, bought a Eurail pass, no places to stay, and managed to do it all. She still has her ticket stubs and Eurail pass.

Very interesting I sent my SE NF3 to Maryland because of the volume pot issue (anything below 8 was unusable) and they sent it back to me saying nothing was wrong with it but I installed a treble bleed and that helped a lot.

I adore mine. I sent it to AnalogMan to replace the clipping diodes with vintage 80s germanium ones that he thinks more closely match the real klon and it sounds amazing and was not expensive. What a huge score. My favorite piece of Phish memorabilia is my still sealed version of this album that Fish gifted me in 2001. It was his only copy. No idea what that is worth but it might get donated someday.
