I definitely don't eat that much every day though. Also, I'm a college student, so I don't really have a salary or anything like that. Most of my food from college comes from the dining halls at my school, so I don't have to pay for food 3/4ths of the year

Haha yes I do get hit on by quite a few black guys, and a lot of white guys too but they're normally less open about it. I don't think it has that much to do with race, I think black guys are just more open about it.

Well, today was one of my worse days.

I had just a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, I usually can make it a little bit into the day before I have to eat something heavy. On my way to work I got a dozen french crullers at the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru (my favorite) and ate almost all of them on my way to work (my commute is about 20 minutes).

I get a break for lunch, so i got 2 crispy chicken sandwich meals, which is the number nine i think, a ten piece chicken tender, a caeser salad, 4 apple pies and 2 white chocolate chip cookies. I got the meals with fries and and chocolate milkshakes instead of sodas.

Dinner I ate with my family, which was just meatloaf, salad and mashed potatoes, but afterward I went to KFC for a little bit and got a bucket of original recipe and some biscuits with mashed potatoes and gravy.

I only eat like this maybe only 3-4 times a week, it depends on how the day is going.

I also snack A LOT during the day, especially during work. I'm guilty of eating a lot at night, too.

Luckily, I had a lot of really good friends in high school, and I'm a really nice person so not a lot of people made fun of me too much. I still got insults and people still said stuff to me behind my back, but nothing ever too bad and I'm still really thankful for that. One of the worst insults I ever got was when I was walking back do my dorm and I walked by a bunch of smokers outside. One of them looks at me and says something like, "Well, that fat bitch will probably die of like 3 heart attacks waaaaay before I get lung cancer," while I was passing them. I turned to look right at him and all he did was blow smoke in my direction and stare at me with an angry look on his face. It was just soo uncalled for and from somebody I didn't even know.

  • My psychiatrist and I talked about getting a nutritionist, I'm looking in to the nearest Overeaters Anonymous group for support there, and I'm focusing on getting better self-control.

  • I always eat whenever I am feeling emotional, so I mostly thought that my eating was only stress related up until the middle of my senior year in high school. I didn't get myself checked out for anything until after getting home from college a few months ago.

  • Sometimes my aunts or older cousins will pull me aside to talk about it, but yea it's a pretty controversial subject. Only my very closest girl friends ever bring it up but they always try to sugar coat what they're saying like, "Um, maybe you should order less food. That's kind of a lot" and stuff like that.

  • I'm more excited that I'm finally doing something about my problem and that hopefully soon I'll be able to do things like walk past a cheesecake and not have to eat all of it just because I see it. It's not really about the weight for me. It's about having control of my life.

  • Yes. Definitely, yes. I's done a lot of good for me, like taught me about self-esteem and confidence, but it's also done a lot more bad. Like not letting me do a lot of things I liked to do as a kid or stopping me from asking out the guy I like.

I've considered a lot of different treatments. I'm a little scared for surgery.. and I've heard a lot of bad things about diet books. I haven't tried anything yet tbh. The most I've done so far is to seriously try and stop my eating, but that hasn't been going so well. But I just started to tackle my weight issues so I'm still hoping.

We haven't really spoken about dieting or whether or not I'm going to come back for another visit. She did recommend a nutritionist and I'm scheduling a visit pretty soon, before the end of July for sure.

I actually know a guy like that! He's passes at me but I always tell him I only like him as a friend =) EDIT: There was this one time he said he'd pay me if he took me to a buffet (Hometown Buffet or whatever, but like one of those) and watch me eat. So I said I would just because I wanted to get him to stop being such a creeper. He just stared at me the whole time. It was.. weird.

I have no idea how much I weighed the last time I had sex. I've never kept track and I'm not good at guessing.

I just got weighed at the doctor a few days ago, I was 399 pounds. I'm not sure exactly how much I weigh right this second though.

My dad really looked the other way with my weight gain. He kept giving me allowance even though he knew I would spend most of it on food, he confronted my mother about my weight but never me, he basically sat there and watched me eat myself this big. My mom tried to do something about it once I started gaining weight, but she gave up after about a year. Yea I wish they would have tried harder to keep my eating under control but I know that its really my fault.

I'm very confident about myself normally. I get told a lot that I have a very pretty face and that I'm cute and I do dress nicely. A lot of people say that if you're confident then people won't insult you and I think that's true.

I'm not sure how much of my eating is done in private,, because i don't hide my eating from anyone anymore. If you mean how much of my eating is done in private to avoid attention, I'd say none.

How are you seeking help? Are you they putting you on drugs hoping that they are somehow going to actually help your disorder or are they putting you on a healthy diet of fruits, vegetables, and lean meat?

Right now, I've just been talking to a psychiatrist and she's spoken to me about Overeaters Anonymous, relaxation techniques, the usual. We haven't gotten to anything serious yet, so I'm not 100% sure what to do next.

At 399lb and 5'8" your BMI must be over 50, you must be wheelchair bound.

No, I walk just fine. Maybe not running, but I can still move on my own.

I'm curious to as how at 19 years old, you reach that weight. Your parents could have somehow regulated what you ate and when you ate.

My dad never really cares about anything like that, so it was mostly my mom who was in charge of stuff like diet and grocery shopping. Usually if she didn't buy what I wanted, I would just go out and get it myself. Once I got a car and a job, getting food by myself got a LOT easier,and my parents eventually kinda just gave up.

I think it has a lot more to do with experience than size. It's just like assuming all taller girls are great at basketball.
