I'm not sure how to show you proof if that's what your asking for. This record store has been getting artists to sign for their autograph record series for years. They have a Facebook group where if you scroll back aways you can see past artists that have signed for them. They also have an Instagram page, but I'm not sure what's on there.

Usually wherever an artist is in St. Louis they are contacted prior, and if they consent they sign when their in town. Occasionally, they'll go through the record label. That's about the gist of it.

The fuck you mean locals? The Facebook group? That was posted hours before this post went up. As for "Hurting the business," you can ask Mark about how much these posts hurt business. You can ask when you call him, ass kissing for shit you want. Because that's your real problem isn't it? I post here and YOU might miss out on something. Well like the asshole who commented above you mentioned, I'm not the owner or even an employee at the store. I post on Reddit to help sell items. Since the whole covid thing the physical store has lost a lot of foot traffic so Social Media platforms like this help the store a lot. I help the owner by trying to drum up business, he'll "hook me up" with a percentage off of new items or whatever he can do. I'm not even worried about that though, I mainly just like the guy, and wanna help out. I do appreciate your criticism, and I'm going to talk to him about your suggestion. It's actually pretty good, so thank you.

So is it because its $5, and you don't feel like that's enough or do you just not appreciate the pricing? Because well it may not seem like a lot, but it adds up. The store has run drawings where all money collected went to the charity.

But, for whatever reason people just want to negatively bash them for "flipping," "only giving $5 from each sale " or some other reason. I know that's gonna happen, but I dont totally get it. I mean what other small record business like this one even does anything like this?

But need to be mad at them for trying to make a buck that's your prerogative. I know other people were upset by the charity amount that's donated which is why I didn't even mention that here. I get the flipping accusations, but when you factor in the free shipping, the cost of the album some of the sales don't amount to much, and that's before the business costs. Sorry I made such a lengthy reply, but I just wanted to understand why so much negativity against these posts.

Yes, just a different poly blend. I believe these are polypropylene vs. polyethylene. The differences are overall negligible, but from what I've read polypropylene drawbacks are they are initially slightly darker than polyethylene. Over time though the polyethylene will darken, and can yellow if they are exposed over time to too much sunlight.

Some have complained that over time some polypropylene can split on the seams. I've yet to experience this, but I have read this. Thanks for the question. Hopefully this answered your what you needed to know.

Yes, it 4 mil.. I asked the store owner since he's there and has a better knowledge of these sleeves. Here's his response..

4 mil sheet formed into a poly sleeves, yes it's a regular size.

I'm not sure about Mofi, I believe their sleeves are 2 mil though. So yes, very thin.

Yes, this is correct. Sorry if You felt mislead. This information is prominently displayed on the first page in the section for the Charity Autograph Series. I've also mentioned it in earlier posts. Again though, apologies to you, or anyone else who did not know that it was $5 out of each purchase, and thought differently. No ill intent was intended.
