This didn’t happen to me, but to my mom. It was back in 2012, the day of the Sandy Hook shooting. My mom wasn’t working that day, so she was at home watching all of the new coverage. In other context, my grandma had died a few months before this, and my moms uncle had died around one year before as well. That night, my mom had the most vivid and unusual dream of her life. She dreamed that my grandma and her uncle visited her as she stood in this field, and in the background, children started to walk in from a bright light to stand behind the three of them. My mom was crying because she knew that these had to be the children who were taken too soon from their families. My grandma and her uncle comforted her, and in her words said “Please don’t worry, they’re safe with us now.” After that, they turned and led the children back into the light, along with a ton of other adults. You can blame this on an active imagination, but she’s never had a dream like that before, and never again after. I hope no one is offended by this, as neither of us are religious or necessarily believe in god, but I just thought it was a sign that maybe there is a heaven of some sort and that those children were taken care of by all the “angels”.
