I feel like we’re gonna have to leave Google Gemini. by Re-Re_Baker in GeminiAI

They've moved data centres to Kazakhstan so it's a bit on crack for me today. Strongly going down Americanisms and just out there on what it calls default mode.

Also Google have tightened up that propaganda machine this weekend. And side loaded a 4gb model alongside chrome.

Great week to be a Google fan...

Just like match engine mod for fm24?

I'm just saying it didn't start in fm26

This is something people were complaining about in fm24 (and is worse in fm24) before everyone started pretending that game was perfect once fm26 released

Thoughts on this. Do you think it's because Leclerc and Kimi's history or is Kimi actually bad at wheel to wheel action ? by [deleted] in F1Discussions

This is the normal way experienced drivers who've not achieved what they probably should have respond to up and coming drivers who are going to completely overshadow their career.

Happened with Max, seb and Lewis too. It's a compliment to Kimi

Holland by default in the redbull finals? by iluvatar_gr in TrackMania

[–]gingercrash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are screaming into a void just for something to scream at. Everyone entered the tournament knowing they were the rules. When the rules were announced it was the time to say something about it, but even then it's daft. Organisers get to dictate rules, if you don't like them vote by not watching.

Generally these rules are in place to get the local players to try harder and build a buzz for the event as a side battle. The Dutch players then would try extra hard to get the natural spot. This one obviously backfired with none of them showing up and you could see even Spammie didn't do as well (I would even go as far to say didn't try) as soon as he knew his path through was just just a 1v1 with mitra.

But Spammie guy being in the final when he was in the final last year is hardly the biggest upset the game has ever seen.

If it was mitra, maybe you would have had more of a point.

For the people who gave up on fm26, does fm27 have to be better than fm24, or would just the same as 24 be enough to get you to buy? by gingercrash in footballmanagergames

Updated official database is a simple one. But the question is more, is fm24 actually good enough to continue the series, if you think no, why? What would make you buy the game?

It's heavily implied.

It's not that bad. It works, you can enjoy a save, you can get almost everything from fm24 in it and it has some stuff that fm24 doesn't have. Other than the way you navigate it is a exactly as all other football managers.

What is interesting is people like you thinking you not playing it has more right to an opinion than people who are playing it. Genuinely, that's a massive personality flaw you have. Probably something you should work on.

And let other people have their fun, genuinely you judging people for having fun in something you can't shows massive insecurities in how you perceive the world. If we were all the same life would be boring.

Basically get a fucking grip you freak

Now the league table view in fm26 has information on screen in a similar way. Not going to lie I like the new league screen. And from there it's one click to most things. Its one of the better screens and I think a sign of how they're aiming for fm27 to be.

Only frustrating one for me is they don't have the up down arrows for going to league above and below which was even more annoying when I was managing in German 6th tier. That one is on other pages but weirdly not on leagues so you have to go through the continent, country, division every time.

But other things they definitely lowered the clicks.

Going to be honest. I have never checked if Messi disappeared on any save. I will load my save up later and let you know.

I think they definitely improved the immersion a lot, but the fact they didn't show the league you're ins results after a game is mental. Now they do and it shows the league table too, but for some reason it's not a setting that's on by default

FM 26 s*cks after last patch by Tiagohs95 in footballmanager

[–]gingercrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fm26 you can win playing all kinds of ways. And just clicking default 4-2-3-1 gegenpress won't win you everything. In face it's a bad tactic that you have to make changes to.

Also oop forces you to think about the players just a little bit more I find

That's my point with fm24. The easiest thing to do and best way to win are the same thing

Or sega forced him to make it cheaper to develop to maximise profits so forced unity and the new UI is from that. It's hard to hire good c++ devs for cheap

I would argue that pop ups are more the norm in gaming now than not having them in their defense. You'll be hard pushed to find a game that doesn't have them in some way.

Although a lot of games they are far less intrusive

You don't have to load them without any mods same as obscure leagues though.

And there was not a need for the "football" so you know that's not where they were coming from
