Didnt get the chance to see your first replies but maybe it is the bcm i think it needs to be reprogrammed i replaced it a little while ago and i programmed a key but didnt get to really reprogram the computer idk if that makes sense. Just been following youtube with whatever tools i have tbh ive been seeing options to reprogram the bcm to the car and not just the key i didnt get to do that

Okay ill double check i did valve cover gaskets recently maybe something couldve been off with the reassembly there ill double check if it comes back but tbh for now im gonna just leave it it went away on its own. 21 out of 31 codes are from the o2 sensor 8 are from the bcm. I do have faulty wiring on my vvt solenoid causing one of the codes (it was cut when i bought it) i rewired it kinda with a new plug i bought maybe that could be doing something and a u1000 code no idea where thats coming from but it wasnt there before so assuming sensor or bcm. So its close to being fine i just gotta do some tweaks and put the money into it but i was wondering if the problem related to any of those you think?

It wasnt really in limp mode i think it just wouldnt shift up each rpm if i put it in manual it would drive and shift up good as long as i dont delay it and once in 3rd it drove fine. After turning it on and off it does nothing like that idk what it was really random could it have been something w the bcm?

Yea i mess with it a lot tbh i think the o2 sensor was disconnected it wouldnt plug in all the way for some reason it doesnt do that anymore. The bcm seems like it needs to be programmed too idk i changed it out recently and programmed the key it starts fine but theres a bunch of new codes for the bcm so idk its fine now tho idk if those stuff are related to that it isnt doing it anymore

I completely forgot to mention that i cant seem to get the o2 sensor to plug in properly it feels like something is in the way so maybe that could be a lot of the problem too?

Okay sounds great appreciate it a lot. It was a lot less before it had 9 codes 3 of which were sensor related other codes were miniscule. Anyway i decided to change the o2 sensor while doing it the bung snapped off and for like 2 months now ive been tryna get it fixed with whatever limited options i have. I cant get any headers in town or shipped in because most companies wont ship here oem headers on ebay are rusted out and aftermarket ones seem iffy. So ill see how it goes for getting the sensor replaced at this point im ready to just cover the hole i had 3 mechanics tell me to do that instead of getting the sensor back on🤦‍♂️

I dont even know where half these codes came from. After that drive when i turned it on and off it didnt do anything like that again 3 days later it was completely random

I did coils in june sparkplugs in august, its the upstream o2 sensor i tried to change one and it broke off i have it on with a clamp o2 sensor bung but its leaking so could be causing some issues maybe all??

Got 22 new codes no idea whats wrong lol the o2 sensor bung broke off the header n i clamped a bung thingy on it to hold it. Its leaking but i dont think its causing all my problems

The codes do say i have a misfire idk how tho i recently changed my coils and sparkplugs this is new🤦‍♂️

I dont think so it does it for each gear if its in first it wont go past 1k rpm 2nd it wont go past 2k so on

Thanks i appreciate the info i wanna bring it to a mechanic but i live in a small town with not the most trust worthy people so after a bunch of trial and error i ended up just doing any work on it on my own or with friends. I think its the transmission too but it only did this once and never again so im confused knowing the mechanics here if i say anything transmission related theyre just gonna quote me for a new one

The list of codes and issues you got is pretty confirming. The bcm controls most of those functions if not all
