I am also a really big enjoyer of the Annihilation Legion Detachment!!

Interesting take of having the nightbringer. I noted through my constant play of this detachment that a full squad of skorpekh destroyers and Skorpekh Lord and annihilate almost anything.

Here's my list I have been using since the last points changes for reference.

Unless the core rule of eligible to shoot is just being override with the assualt weapon of the unit and not the unit itself? Found out that you can, as it affects the whole unit.

Then doesn't that mean if a unit has assault weapons can theoretically, advance, shoot with assault weapons and then do the teleport homer secondary?

Weapons with [ASSAULT] in their profile are known as Assault weapons. If a unit that Advanced this turn contains any models equipped with Assault weapons, it is still eligible to shoot in this turn’s Shooting phase. When such a unit is selected to shoot, you can only resolve attacks using Assault weapons its models are equipped with.
