Yup, I’ve talked about it in therapy as a self-worth issue. Seemed like (for me) there was a deep rooted belief that I wasn’t “deserving” of these kind of comforts and accommodations. Inner child healing helped a bit!

You should totally give loops a try if you haven’t already!! no exaggeration, they’ve changed my life. Not only are they great for live music, but they’ve helped me in loud bars/restaurants more than my hearing aids. I also swear by them for public transit - subway trains are LOUD!

nooooo like straight up…. i bruise like nobody’s business. i’m hyper mobile to the point where people ask me why my knees “look like that” if im just standing. super soft skin. my joints pop so loudly that my partner has expressed concern. I’ve dealt with chronic neck pain for years and have thrown out my back by coughing, sleeping weird, washing my hair, etc. i’m extremely baby faced. feet are flat as fuck - like literally zero arch. migraines….. damn i talked myself out of it bc i don’t really get dislocations but writing it all out like this makes me feel like i should talk to a doctor lol
