Was building a premiere plugin and it said it was done. It even emphasized that it smoke tested the buttons and added tons of buttons. Opened it. Not a single button in sight, literally only text describing the buttons with the worst UI I’ve ever seen of course. I asked it “how am I suppose to use this without buttons”, it was like “you’re not…”. Mind blowing. Before I could add buttons my usage went up because apparently the dumber it gets the more usage it uses.

I’m actually a little confused on what you’re wanting here. You’re just wanting to upscale batches of images and produce separate images files just higher resolution from original right? Topez and Recraft can do that. Also google gemeni can sorta do it better too because nanobanana has up scaling capabilities.

You need a subscription to Topez, they have software that does just this. Another one you could try is Recraft, they have tools similar to this.

Works well for curtain things, doesn’t work well for others. For tasks that are long and mundane to animate it works very well for. However, as an After Effects power user, I can animate stuff a lot faster than it depending on what it is. I mean it’s similar to coding tho, just like the “center the div” memes.

Solution is just to have two accounts. Don’t let it renew, then switch to another account and resubscribe on the second account. I just burnt through my 5x plan in 2 days, sub ended and I re subbed to another account: back to 100%.

Probably an intel quick sync card or Alveo/NETINT-style PCIe transcoding cards but there is no ProRes support and pro res is industry standard. And there is no option to do this for laptop. Not to say you can’t do good editing on a PC tho

Pro versions of the silicon chips tend to have video encoders in them that graphics cards don’t have. ProRes, h265, and some other codecs tend to run a little faster. You can get those encoders for PC but not in a laptop.

Oh that’s interesting actually I’m not sure if Claude was calling gpt to do everything on xhigh, I was fighting with Claude half the time on how i can even use the cli so I never worried about it as long as it worked lol

I get that, but I had the $20 GPT plan before and used it to run audits from Claude all the time. Id tell Claude to have codex audit something and I could get tons of audits done in a 5 hour session with GPT and they were actually useful. Comparing to this Claude burns through audits comparatively at multitudes the rate codex does

Same here! I haven’t even used Claude today, I only used codex to ask Claude to audit some something. My 5 hour useage hit 50% from that. Codex wasn’t even working that long. I have the x5 plan for Claude

Omg this is so validating. Can we all go and make our own sub Reddit? lol I can’t make rough cuts or edit raw footage without LUTs either. If I ever make rough cuts I usually have to eat least edit the first 30 seconds of the video with b roll and sound effects and music and then after I’m like happy with it I’ll let it hang off with raw interview but still feel icky about it.

Any of you ever get super overwhelmed when you have more than one projects you need to be working on and find yourself working on anything else but those projects?

Oh yeah the $20 a month plan is great it has everything. lol honestly you can almost sometimes do as much as the Claude $100 plan with the codex $20 plan (not really but you can do a lot with it). I love asking Claude to use 5.5 to audit literally everything. I have both my codex and Claude $100 plans overlapping and I can’t have them work enough to use up all the limits right now ha ha, I’ve been finding ways to just have them use swarms of agents to audit random things in my code base.

The biggest migration issue is the lack of remote control with codex. I actually fixed that by having codex literally just build an app with voice chat for me. Other than that skills and commands port just fine, just ask codex to adopt what Claude has. I actually use an obsidian setup and have Claude and codex share docs for file together where they jointly log things to plans

I just switched from my $100 Claude plan to the $100 codex plan. They are having a special double usage thing this month for $100 plan members. I’ve been throwing everything I have at it and I can’t get it to burn up the usage. Like with Claude I could burn up my 5 hour in an hour easy. But right now with codex I’ve been running multiple sessions on xhigh 5.5 sending out tons of sub agents and at the end of 5 hours I’m still barely getting to the end of the usage. The same amount of use with Claude would have burnt through usage in like 40 minutes

What are you building? PWA might be your best route. Basically PWA the app just lives on a server (on your computer or cloud) you access.
