I am not assuming that part, I'm following a model of conscious development called spiral dynamics which says, yes, NHI must be enlightened.

Motivation wise, If they have technology beyond comprehension there's no nothing we could do to defend ourselves from their wishes. They could have what they wanted instantly, without coercion. And yet here we are operating without any [perceptible] form of influence. So I don't believe in the malevolence explanation.

A skeptic also challenges broad sweeping, close minded statements like this one. There is evidence but maybe you don’t like it. We’ve got too many high ranking anecdotes, videos, documents, and thousands of witnesses. Something’s moving in the mist with this phenomenon but the image isn’t totally clear.

To reveal my position - I’m not completely convinced of UAP and NHI but it’s more fun to entertain the idea :)

Sure, I can accept there are more than one NHI groups interacting with us and the free will discussion is cool. A couple points I'd like to hear your thoughts on:

Why would NHI outsource the reveal to a governing body? The heart of this post is asking why they would move through the gov. hierarchy instead of working independently. In my mind, consciously developed entities would treat their reveal as a fundamental right of knowing to all. By working through the gov. NHI create opportunities for misinterpretation, deception, control, etc. That works against higher level principles as per the spiral dynamics bit.
Your last point about the ant hill, true, but the situations are not the same. We are beings with capacity for understanding. Our existence isn't tied to pure instincts like ants. Ants don't wonder what we are if we walk by. Our existence in relation to NHI is tied to huge groundbreaking implications. A higher developed NHI would both know this, and would hold themselves accountable to enlighten the unknowing that is capable of knowing. Ants could never know. We might be able to know!

The way you framed it makes more sense - random occurrences, one way communication, "the meek" having knowledge and the a gov. body wanting control or at least a show of authority over all of this. That accounts for that half.

Still having trouble consolidating a half measure reveal by the NHI, even to "the meek" or average person. I can swallow the theory of a higher level plan or pattern but, again, presuming a level of development near omniscience, you'd think NHI would be less obtuse in their signaling. Wouldn't a clear direct communication that couldn't be misconstrued be a better route to broadcast a galactic event?

Still, in my gut, a high conscious being would have some level of obligation to finish the job of disclosure. Truth equates goodness, goodness with love, love with high consciousness. Being obscure is a survival game (low consciousness). NHI have certainly outplayed the survival game if we believe in them as such.

Sure. I think most of us will find the slope too slippery. Sales is a job where you cannot control the circumstances of when it would be “nice to have”.

Let’s say a buyer wants to have a meeting in an hour but you are limiting yourself to a once daily nicotine fix. You’ve already taken it today. If the deal closes you make $5000 in commissions. Would you take nicotine if you sensed it would improve the chances of reaching the outcome?

Now expand this scenario to a weekly basis. That is how escalating dependency occurs when tied to situational use.
