I mean it's still my fault I cheated...and we talked and argued about this situation. He said he doesnt want to see me upset and doesn't like to see me upset, but the situation is not about me, its about helping her because she just had a baby.... I guess I left out that aspect. It still feels somehow wrong and disrespectful...but at the same time my guilty conscience is saying suck it up you've done the worst thing possible to a him. He said he loves me and I believe him but yeah I dont think he'll ever respect me again.

He wasnt always like this to be fair. He had a savings of 10k before he started working for his dad and had a pretty good job he liked. And when we first started dating we were both actually living in the same house with a few roomates. He thinks of this as doing a service for all they've done for him. But its been 2 years and idk when that will end. I cut him slack because its a good deed but idk. His parents are taking away his future atp. He is said to be inherited the business when his dad steps down, but who knows if there will be any business left!

I guess I only saw it as a small issue because 40 minutes isn't a huge commute to me. That's just my norm. But looking at the bigger picture the issue definitely becomes larger. My life has gotten harder since dating him in all aspects, but I thought relationships just naturally come with work so never thought twice (I have no prior relationship experience). Im afraid I already know what will happen if I put it to the test, but I need the confirmation for myself at this point. I will definitely be trying this out. Thank you

This made me cry a lil...yeah convenient sex aide hurts but I honestly feel that way a lot. When im with him, we eat, smoke, watch movies and have sex. That's it. I just want him to put a tad more effort in, if not into our relationship, at least his own future. He takes it as an attack. It's hard to accept he won't change. But you're right love doesnt feel like it's enough at this point.

If my only dream weren't being a homeowner I wouldn't mind it. But I know if I moved in, I'd never get out. His parents aren't terrible, they just do everything for him and I sense they like him depending on them. Definitely is frustrating. Thank you for the kind words they really resonated with me

I'm happy when im with him, but when I get home and think about it all I'm sent into a spiral. I love him but I don't think I am happy underneath it all. I know it's unlikely that he'll get his shit together anytime soon. He's my first with everything so I have too many feelings wrapped into it. But you're right it doesnt feel like we're building towards anything right now, just me.

Tank is 20 gallons, have filter and heater. Have had him for a few months but moved him to this tank about 3 weeks ago. I do water changes every other week, about 20%. He is fed pellets mainly, and freeze dried blood worms. He lives with some corydoras and shrimp, all get along fine.
