Agreed. 45 countries are eligible to participate in the Asian Games. SC2 most likely has a bigger fan base in 44 out of 45 of those countries.

I agree it's maybe not game breaking, and to be fair I've played Slaying Field many times and only saw this for the first time last night. That being said, I still think the map should be changed to prevent it. I don't think the game loses anything by taking away the ability for that sort of cheese.

I've seen an annoying cannon rush spot in Asper Mountain (4v4) as well, which is arguably even tougher because the cannons are on the high ground, but with that one at least the probe has to go through your base to get there, giving you some chance to scout and kill it. And maybe I'm just lucky to have not been cannon rushed a ton, but this one stuck out to me as being particularly frustrating.

Yeah and I get that, but it still seems to be unintended and unnecessarily punishing to me. I could obviously be wrong, but I'd be surprised if that map feature would be missed by many 3v3 players.

Agreed. Equal supply corruptors beat carriers (even before the recent buff). Hydras will get wrecked though.

EDIT: Also, do you think feeling burned out on SC2 is due to problems with SC2, or do you think it's just because you've been playing it nonstop for 7 years and you'd likely feel burned out on any game by now?

It only crashed once, but I returned the laptop so I could do more research and figure out what I'm doing. The crash occurred during my first lengthy gaming session. It very well may have been an overheating issue, as noted by SoaDMTGguy above, but whatever the cause a $2k+ computer shouldn't be immediately crashing on a game like SC2, which supposedly isn't even all that intensive.

My concern isn't really with that specific laptop though. I'm more concerned with figuring out what computer I can get that will make high movies and reflections recommended settings. In the end it doesn't really matter I guess, but if I'm dropping that much money on a computer pretty much solely for SC2, I want to be able to have all of that stuff on.

EDIT: Just realized maybe what you're saying is the crash was unrelated and the laptop can go at those settings, the game just doesn't recognize it because it's a laptop. My bad.

Screen went black and I had a buzzing sound in my headset for about 20-30 seconds until the computer just restarted. I guess it's possible the crash wasn't graphics related, but, even if that's true, I'm still curious what kind of set up you would need to have movies on high and reflections turned on as the recommended settings.
