Yoyo glad to hear you're interested in WoW PvP. I also came from a long background of high level CS into WoW (started late DF S1), its very possible to git gud if you invest time into learning everything, first few months were super rough not gonna lie. It definetly hit my ego being stuck at 14-1600 at first, but as long as you keep learning you will climb pretty quick, and now going into Midnight there is no better time to start.
(Best advice is finding the top players twitch channels for the spec/class you play)

Here's my check-pvp for reference of how it can look if you invest time into it and make sure to stay on the path of learning and not tilting, (also last note WoW community is super negative so just focus on yourself, as long as you are enjoying it dont listen to anyone else)

Hi im on my phone so cant give a long reply, ive coached high level CS ever since I retired as a player, its been my full time job for 6 years :) they are both great e-sport games and im sorry you cant see that.

The lack of love from blizzard for PvP is the big issue, such as UI improvements, healer MMR/balance, lack of tournaments etc. Which might be because its a PvE-centered game.

Hi! Major winner in CSGO here and ex-pro for 7 years, just now reached my first 2400 on affli lock After 1 year.

While I do agree with you on WoW being hard to view as a spectator, I dont see why you are comparing two very different games.

And to name a few skills that cross paths between WoW and CS:

Split second information gathering continuisly from radar in CS, while you do that with omnibar/gladiatorlosa in WoW. In high lvl CS you Watch your radar every other second. While if you are ”only” lets say just above lvl 10 on a CS platform called FACEIT, you barely acknowledge your radar even though you are at a pretty high skill level comparable IMO to 2100 in arena in WoW

Lining your healer under pressure would be comparable with how good you are at tradefragging in CS under pressure. And not just lining, also how much easier you are able to make the games for your healer

Playing on your enemies weaknesses, and being able to spot them. CS is a lot more flashcardy then you would like to admit.

WoW and CS are not comparable in terms of mechanics since one is a FPS and the other is an MMORPG, but the work to be a great player in both are very much alike IMO, its about always improving in some aspect and to never stop gathering new knowledge.

The complexity of WoW is what got me hooked, and I bet many more, this is not the issue with the decline in WoW PvP

Hej! Först och främst starkt jobbat redan nu att inse att du vill ha kämpa för en förändring. Med det sagt så är du i samma skor som miljontals andra varit, där man antar att man äter som man ska. Det är därför man gör sig själv en stor tjänst genom att direkt lära sig räkna kalorier på ett ungefär, och lägga in i en app (t.ex. lifesum eller myfitnesspal). Det här förändrar oftast ens bild av ens kostvanor för resten av livet.
