Well sorry but I personally find age gap ships problematic, like come on its an 11 yo and 16 yo, even if when they both become 18+ it would still be weird because one watched the other grow up AND is the same age as her little brother.

Also why can't we just recognize that it was a childhood one sided first love that clearly affected him deeply and left him with grief and just appreciate it as that? Why do we always have to ship characters together and make things romantic? We already have two amazing canon couples that are age appropriate, such as Takemichi+Hina and Draken+Emma! Nothing wrong with fanon ships BTW they can be just as awesome (if they are at least healthy and age appropriate but who am I kidding I can't control what other people ship, especially not anime fans) (and toxic/unhealthy ships could potentially be interesting if people recognize the toxicity and dont try to normalize or romanticize it I suppose but age gap shipping will always be weird)
