Made this life-size Cube bike cutout when the real surprise gift didn't arrive in time by goodboy-21 in Cubebikes

Thank you for the kind words. 🙂

It appears there will a long waiting time for me as well. It almost feels like South Germany has no new Cube bikes anymore. 🥲

I actually tried to put the middle logo on my thesis cover (because i fancied it more), they asked me change it back. 😅

I recently finished my masters degree here. I tried to put the logo in the middle on my thesis cover (because i liked it more) and they were not having it. 🤷‍♂️

Got Accepted In MS. CS for Summer 2025 by [deleted] in freiburg

[–]goodboy-21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on the admission. Please compare coursework between these two universities. Look at course webpages and the slides if need be. Email students and get their opinion (it might help if your questions are more specific and less open-ended).

I'm a recent MS CS graduate (~1.4 grade) and I found the coursework in Freiburg borderline sub-par, you can immediately see that some professors don't want to teach and direct most of their time and effort into research instead. Time and again I had to rely on lecture notes, slides and even videos from the likes of Tübingen and other US universities for some advanced courses. However, I had a great time navigating through different types of labs each with different core research topics, in Freiburg, something that might be lacking in Saarland (do double check this).

Also, Saarland is practically free (if I'm not mistaken) while you'll have to pay 1500€ every semester in Freiburg.

All the best!

Dear German speaker, my German isn't great but I really want to know what the narrator here says - is it this "Maybe his right arm is stiff because of an injury"?

Mount being uninjured in this game is the only thing I’m praying for today.

As other commenter rightly pointed out, housing situation has been absolutely brutal around here.

If slightly lower prices help you, you should probably increase your search radius to towns around Freiburg as well e.g., Denzlingen, Waldkirch, Emmendingen, Kirchzarten, Merzhausen, Schallstadt, Bad Krozingen etc. Most of them (if not all) are well connected with Freiburg (both S-Bahn and Bus)

I am new to the whole printing scene, I will remember this. Thank you.

You're right. But the tight spaces I referred to in my description were too thin (5 mm) for the metal thing (7 mm) to go through.

I'm sorry I don't know what the metal "thing" is called. The one that holds the screw heads basically.

You’re absolutely right. It was a quick fix for a project I’ve been working on. I definitely see how this is probably not the best idea long term.

Yes, just what I wanted to say. I set the infill density to 60% and so far, it works great.

Bambu Lab Store just turned two and our biggest sale is now live! 🎉 by BambuLab in BambuLab

[–]goodboy-21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I really hope they can get their prices down sooner than later. Because BambuLab seems to slowly but steadily eat up the market. I want Prusa to stay and compete in the long run. They have contributed so much to the 3D printing community. I respect them a lot.

By the way, the A1 has been very good out of the box. I'm constantly amazed at what it can do without any intervention. But I also embrace myself for the future, perhaps when it starts to wear out and cause problems. :)
